Adrienne ran into the kitchen to pretend that she was starting the dishwasher or something. She put the liquid soap in the dishwasher that was barely even half full. She heard the front door open and heard the ringing of Billie Joe's keys hit the table that was next to the door. He walked in and kind of gave Adrienne a ignorant kind of look and just pretended like she wasn't there. Billie Joe grabbed an apple out of the refrigerator and began eating it. She saw her reflection from a pan that was in the dishwasher. Her eyes and face were red and her eyes were still watered up. Her make up was smeared all underneath her eyes and some was on her face.
"Billie Joe aren't we going to talk about this?" asked Adrienne shutting the dishwasher door.
"Hats there to talk about? All you do is get on my ass about everything saying I'm never home getting wasted all the time!" Billie Joe said his voice getting louder. Still not even taking a glimpse of her.
"Billie Joe don't play than with me. 1 you've haven't been yourself for the past month or so. 2 I just told you to take it down. 3 I'm tired of the sneaking around and hiding the booze and lying about it, and don't tell me you haven't drank today because I can smell it on you. Billie I'm worried about you. The sad part is... I don't know if I can trust you anymore." said Adrienne getting that lump in her throat that you get when your trying not to cry.
"Here we go with this shit again" Billie Joe yelled.
"Billie Joe keep it down Joey and Jakob are sleeping." said Adrienne.
"Well they'll never have to hear me yell again!" Billie Joe yelled. He grabbed his keys off the table once again, slammed the door and left. Adrienne looked out the window. The tires of Billie Joe's speeding car backing out of the driveway filled the California air. His car missed the mailbox by inches.
Adrienne stood there in shock and felt a little isolated.
"Holy Shit." was she could think. They have had their fights, but nothing this intense. Was this really going to be the end of Billie Joe and Adrienne? Adrienne feared what the outcome was going to be. She need to sit down and talk to Billie Joe especially when he's sober.
Adrienne decided to check on Joey and Jakob she hoped to god that they didn't hear the argument. She took a peak in both of their rooms, thankfully they were both sound asleep.
Adrienne went back into her room because it was late. She laid down on her bed her hands underneath her head. She looked next to her to the vacant spot that Billie Joe was suppose to be. She noticed once again the picture of their wedding day. She remembered that day. How they had a ceremony that only lasted 5 minutes and how her and Billie Joe were both nervous as hell they started hitting it up on the beers. Also there honeymoon at the Claremont hotel in Berkley. That was one of the best days of Adrienne's life. Also who could forget the next day when she found out she was pregnant?
*Flash Back*
Adrienne woke up kind of early that morning. Billie Joe still had her arm around her. She woke up that morning feeling sick like she had for the past few weeks. She suspected she might be pregnant because she was late, and she had all the symptoms and it was bugging the hell out of her. She had to know. She slipped out from under Billie Joe's arms. She searched for her clothes that were scattered all over the room from last night. Her and Billie Joe let's just say "Celebrated" their marriage if you catch my drift. Anyway she went down to the drugstore that was down the street. She bought a pregnancy test and went straight back to the room and went in the bathroom to do the test. She heard a noise in the room.
"Shit please don't be Billie Joe please." said Adrienne clutching the stick that turned blue. She wasn't sure if Billie Joe would be happy mad or what cause tomorrow he was leaving to go on a 6 month tour all over America Europe, and some of Japan.
"Adie are you in there?" asked Billie Joe. Adrienne didn't' answer she went and unlocked the door. She waited for him to come in, but she figured he was unsure himself if he wanted to come in or was even allowed. She went over and opened the door a crack so he knew it was okay.
"Adie what's wrong are you okay?" asked Billie Joe.
"Billie Joe I need to tell you something." said Adrienne.
"Okay tell me." said Billie Joe.
"Well I'm not sure how you'll take it." said Adrienne felling her eyes to tear up.
"Adie it's okay tell me." said Billie Joe
"I'm... Um... Well... Pregnant." said Adrienne beginning to cry. Not that she was mad she was happy, but wasn't sure if Billie Joe was.
"Adie this is great." said Billie Joe running up to give her a hug and hold her in his arms.
"You mean your okay with this and everything?" asked Adrienne.
"Adie the last time I was this happy was yesterday when we got married." said Billie Joe lifting her chin up. He looked into her beautiful eyes that glistened from the tears and the reflection of the light. Billie Joe took his thumb and wiped the tears away.
"I love you Adie. I'm so happy right now." said Billie Joe giving her a kiss. The kiss got more passionate. Billie Joe picked her up as they were making out and threw her on the bed. Clothes started flying all over the place once again and ya you guys can use your imaginations.
*End of Flash Back*
Adrienne started crying again. She loved that day. She wished she could go back to those days, They had they're small little fights, but nothing like this where Billie Joe actually left or Adrienne left or anything. She liked those days her everything was pretty much perfect, there was no sneaking and they could trust and talk to one another about everything. Adrienne needed to sit down and talk to Billie Joe and talk, not argue, also it had to be the sober Billie Joe. Adrienne ended basically crying herself to sleep. She wished Billie Joe was there to hold her like he used to.
