My Lame Title (Exciting, eh?), chapter 5

"I am dead serious. I SLEPT in her BED." Tre grinned to himself, playing a simple beat on his drums as the other two musicians gaped at him.
"I am so... Jealous." Mike shook his head in wonder, tuning his bass.

"He SLEPT in my BED." Crash threw her head back against the wall as Melissa gasped.
"Seriously? Oh... Man. How... Cool." Melissa started to tie her untied shoe.
"It was... I like him Melissa. A lot." She grinned to herself.

"What was it like?" Billie Joe jumped up, grabbing him on the shoulders, a crazy look in his eye.
"It was... Dude, Bill, I slept, and that's all. You are so dirty." Tre grinned.
"Look who's talking... " Mike muttered, looking down at his fingers as he tuned his guitar.
"Now, really, was that completely necessary?" Tre asked, a mock look of anger.
"Completely." Mike said, a grin on his face.
"Okay... Just making sure." Tre started banging his drums furiously, cymbals flying.

"Hey you guys... Mind if we sit?" Crash set her lunch tray on the table, which held Mike, Tre and Billie Joe.
They nodded and Melissa sat down next to Billie Joe, smiling at him. Mike looked at Crash, then at Billie Joe and Melissa, and Crash again, raising his eyebrows. Crash shrugged, her eyebrows rising as Billie Joe whispered something in her ear, which made her giggle. Crash smiled, poking at her lunch.
"Hey sexay!" Tre said to Crash, and she smiled.
"Hey hot stuff." She giggled at their funny manner, not being able to keep a straight face.
"You always do that! Never able to play along long enough." Tre shook his head, poking at his food with a fork.
"I want to be your dominated love slave, I want to be the one that takes the pain... " Tre started singing to himself softy.
Crash raised one eyebrow, looking at him out of the side of her eye, then looked at Mike. She gave him a lopsided smile, and he shrugged.
"So, you guys. I'm having a party Friday... Bring booze and friends." Billie said.
"Cause I love feelin' dirty, and I love feelin' cheap... "
"Booze! Heck fucking yes." Crash said.

"So... Are you walking home? 'Cause... " Tre looked at his feet.
"Want to walk with me?" Crash said, smiling a bit at him. He sure was cute.
"Yeah! I need to go to my locker though." He said, she nodded; she had to go to her locker too.
He finished, and they walked to her locker, and she dumped all her stuff in it, slamming the door closed.
"You don't have any homework?" Tre asked.
"Finished it in class." She cocked her head the right, smiling slightly at him.
"Come on... We should go or something." He turned and started walking, feeling self-conscious under her gaze.
"Yeah... Hey, do you want to go with me to Billie's party? You live only a block or so away. We could walk there together or something." Crash took out a knit hat from her jean jacket pocket, pulling it over her long black hair.
"Yeah... Sure, that would be cool." Tre smiled.

They talked about nothing and everything, all the rest of the way to Crashes house, and they stood awkwardly on the sidewalk.
"See you tomorrow?"
"Yeah... Tomorrow." Tre said.
He started to turn to walk to his house, but she grabbed his sleeve and pulled him to her. She looked into his blue eyes, their faces inches from each other, and she kissed him full on the lips. She broke away, and flashed him a smile, walking up to her house, going in the front door.

She left Tre standing there, a surprised look on his face, before he realized that, if anyone saw him there, they might yell stalker and commit suicide. Well, they could.

Crash closed the door, leaning up against it, sliding down so she sat on the floor. She hugged her knees to her chest, smiling. She pulled off her hat, throwing it onto the coat rack, missing.
"Geeze. Don't sit right in front of the door. And pick that hat up!" He mother shouted at her, annoyed.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah... " She stood up, placing the hat on the hook, and went up to her room. Another perfect moment ruined. Thanks, Mom.

"Honey? A young man is here for you. He says you're going to a party?" Her mother shouted up the stairs, and Crash appeared, dressed and made-up, ready to go.
"Yes, Mother... I've told you about twenty times. Way to bond I say." She jogged down the stair, her green converses hitting the carpet silently.
"I'll be back whenever. Maybe even tomorrow!" She pulled Tre out with her.
"Run! Now!" Tre grinned, doing as she said, and Crash followed, finally stopping about a block or so away, hands on her knees, trying to catch her breath.
"Damn... I don't think I've run like that... At all for... Since... Never." Tre said, sitting on the ground. "Why did we run anyway?"
"I though it would be fun." She rolled her eyes. "Plus it would surely confuse my mother." She started laughing hysterically, tears eventually running down her face.
"What is so... " Tre giggled. "Funny?" He started giggling again.
"I have no clue!" She started laughing harder. "I just took two pills this time... instead of one!" She wiped at her eyes, finally getting a hold of her laughing. She stood up, holding her hand out to Tre, who took it, pulling himself up with her help. When he stood up, he didn't let go of her hand. She didn't mind.
"What pills?" He said, eyeing her.
"Anti-Depression." She said, shrugging.
"Anti-Depression pills?" His eyebrows knitted together in worry.
Crash sighed. "Don't worry. It's genetic, so nothing triggers it. If you were to get mad at something, or me I probably wouldn't kill myself. So... No worries." She shrugged.
"But... All the time?" He said, looking at her.
"Yes. Unless I take my pills. I'm fine when I take those. You're sweet, you know that?" Crash looked at his worried face, and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"Hey, hey, hey!" Billie swung open the door, to reveal a huge party. People, drunk people, swaying around, trying to walk, but failing.
"Hey... Looks great." Crash slid off her jacket, throwing it at the pile of coats on the floor.
"Come on." She grabbed both of Tre's hands, pulling him to the middle of the living room backwards. "Let's dance!"
"I can't dance though." He said, making a face.
"Neither can I!"

She started dancing, but Tre soon found out that she lied. She was a great dancer.
