Before We Knew, chapter 1
"Oh my god! I hate Mr. Lunst! He gave me an other F!" an extreamly frustrated Sara-Rae said as her and I walked once again down the halls of our high school. Sara and I had been best friends for ever. Our moms both worked at the same office and were both pregnate with us at the same time, so we have literaly known each other our intire life. Now walking down the halls for our softmore year at high school we kept up our usual 'girl talk' "Hey Jayne," she said as she nuged me, "check out the hottie!"
I looked up to see quite the guy just standing in the middle of the hallway, thinking. By the looks of him he was probably thinking about wheather or not to skip his next class. "You have spanish next right?" I asked. I had Geograhy next and the boy was holding a Geography text book so if I was lucky enogh he was that kid who sits behind and has never shown up for a class.
"Sí. Why?"
"Work with me ok?" I said as I slowly started walking faster away from my good friend Sara.
"Ok" Sara-Rae said but I could tell she was still confused.
As I got further away from her I turned around so that my back wwas to the mistery boy and I was facing Sara. "Ok so I'll see you later, ok then Sara." I yelled back to her quickly walking backwards towards him. Now he had finished thinking and had started walking. Lucky for me he was walking in my direction without looking. I then quickly spun around and went off to run, crashing right into him. We both dropped all out books. " Oh my God! I am sooo sory!" I said even though I wasn't, I loved that I had run into him.
"It's no problem. I wasn't watching where I was going. I should have been but I wasn't." He said he had a really weird voice. It wasn't bad, it was just different, sorta sexy, I loved it. I hadn't looked up threw out the whole crash. I had immediately bent down to put up my books. But when I had we were both nealying on the floor picking up books and it seemed like we had both looked at each outher at the same time. It was at that point that I finally saw them, his eyes. He had beautiful green eyes that just made your heart melt. I smiled, then he smiled, then I blushed. "My names Billie Joe." he said as he stood up.
I fallowed his lead, "Jayne." I shook the had he had put out, and my heart raced as was able to touch him. " So you're also a two-namer."
"What?" Billie Joe asked extermly comfused.
oh shit, I thought I just had to say that "Oh my friends name is Sara-Rae, and well I say she's a two-namer. Cause it's Sara, Rae." I felt like such an idiot.
"Oh, I get it." Surprisingly, from the way he spoke, it sounded like he didn't think I was a complete moron. It sounded like he actually got it. Like he actaully thought I was funny to some extent. "Ummmm, do you have Brooke's Geography class next?"
"Yeah, Yeah I do." I couldn't help but smile. It seemed like he had actually taken an interest in me.
"Well, I havn't exactly gone to this class yet and I was wondering if I could walk you to class, and maybe you could show me the way?"
