Before We Knew, chapter 6
It was now mid frieday afternoon, I walked into next class. There I finally found Sara-Rae the desk infront of her was empty so i walked over a grabbed a seat. "Hey! I've been looking for you all day." She said casually.
"You been looking for me? Oh please!" Sara responded angerly, "Where have you been? Yesterday you disapeared with some guy and I dont see until," Sara looked down at her watch, "11:20!! You didn't...?"
"NO!" I said quickly knowing wat it was she was implying.
"Well then what the heck happened? How was he?"
At that moment the door opened and Mrs.Chapman walked in yelling at everone to be quiet. "I tell you at lunch." I whispered to her. We had lunch next so it worked out.
So we sat threw Chapman boaring class it was the longest 40 minutes of the day and the whole time all i could think about was how much I had to tell Sara. Then finally the bell rang for our lunch brake. All the way to the cafeteria I started filling Sara in on what had happened yesterday. Then finally while we were sitting eating our lunches my story concluded, "... And now he wants me to skip Geo with him again today to hang out with him, Mike and there other friend, the drummer from their band, Tre!" I said so excitedly that it came out a little bit sqeeky.
"Oh my God!" I could tell that Sara-Rae was truly excited for me, "Well Geography is next!"
"I know!"
"Oh, my God! Let's go to the washroom and touch up some of your makeup."
I laughed, she was just as excited as I was, and she wasn't even doing anything. So we ran off to the washroom and touched up some of my make up and basically goofed around talking about Billie. Then the bell rang once again and Sara wished me luck before she went off to her spanish class and i went in the opposite direction to meet with Billie Joe. So I walked around the empty hallways, it wasn't until then that i realized that we never made a meeting spot.
"Jayne?" I heard a voice call from behind me, it was definatly Billie's original voice, I turned around to him standing at the other end of the hallway. "Jayne, come on, Tre and Mike are waiting in the car." Ran threw the halls towards him. "You ready?" he asked once I reached him
"Definatly." I answered very confidently.
"Great lets go." We walked out side then into the parking lot. I saw the same car I drove around in yeaterday sitting there basically alone. Mike was sitting in the front seet with another boy sitting in the back seat. [i] he must be Tre .<i/> Billie Joe walked around the car, like he had the last day, to open the door for me, only this time he was opening the back door. I climbed in and sat down next to this new boy.
"Hey Jayne!" Mike said turned around from the frot seat.
"Hey Mike!" I said with a smile.
"I'm Tre!" Tre said very excitedly as he put out a hand for me to shake.
"Hi Tre! I'm Jayne!" I said with an even bigger smile as I shook his hand.
"Oh, I know who you are!" Tre said very matter of fact, "Billie's told us tonnes about you. Isn't that right Mike?"
"Sure is!"
"OK, ok let's get going shall we!" Billie said tring to shut them up. I just sat in the back seat smiling.
We drove in the car to Billie's house talking and laughing all the way. We pulled up the drive way and Billie once again opened the car door for me and the four of us walked into Billie Joe's house.
"You been looking for me? Oh please!" Sara responded angerly, "Where have you been? Yesterday you disapeared with some guy and I dont see until," Sara looked down at her watch, "11:20!! You didn't...?"

"Oh, I know who you are!" Tre said very matter of fact, "Billie's told us tonnes about you. Isn't that right Mike?"
"Sure is!"
"OK, ok let's get going shall we!" Billie said tring to shut them up. I just sat in the back seat smiling.
We drove in the car to Billie's house talking and laughing all the way. We pulled up the drive way and Billie once again opened the car door for me and the four of us walked into Billie Joe's house.
