City Slicker Cool, chapter 4
*TRE'S POV*
"Billie Joe you don't understand. Its HAUNTED!", I said trying to explain again. My friend just shook his head and sat down on the couch. I took a seat beside him and watched him closely.
"You mean you want me to come and stay with you in the country for a week to see a haunted house?", he asked me. I nodded enthusiastically.
"Mike already agreed and so did Nat, well once her studies finish", I told him, "Please Billie you have to see this girl as well".
"WHOA! NO ONE SAID THERE WAS A GIRL! WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME EARLIER?", Billie asked smiling. I felt a little awkward now but it was alright. Billie had never been like this for women they had all just kinda of come to him, but since the break up with Nat he had been different to how I had ever seen him. OMG that's perfect I can set Ethan and Nat up. I smiled sweetly to myself.
"What's that grin on your face for? What are you up to?", he asked me.
"Nothing. Are you coming or not?", I asked again wanting a solid answer. Billie nodded and got up.
"I should probably go pack then", he told me. I smiled to myself and walked off to help the others with what they were doing.
"NAT!", I screamed making her jump. She spun around and looked at me.
"Tre... ... it's not funny you know how I get scared easily", she told me. I walked up to her and hugged her letting her nuzzle my neck gently.
"You know it was quiet without you", she told me. I smiled.
"You're going to love it down there", I told her nuzzling her back. She smiled and continued to pack her bags.
"I know I will", she said as she smiled at me. I smiled back kissing her cheek before I took her bags to the car. Mike and Billie Joe were already inside the car waiting to leave. I helped Nat on there quickly before I got in myself and we started off down back to the country side.

*BILLIE JOE'S POV*
I can't believe I'm coming down here. I mean I know it's nice and all but how did Tre of all people manage to get me here. Ah it could be worse I guess. No actually it is good. I end up missing out on 4 days of school and they can't do anything about it. I looked outside my can window for the million time on this trip. Trees, trees and more trees. Wow the country doesn't seem as exciting as Tre made it out to be. That's until we turned up the driveway and stopped at the gate to see a girl climb down and open them up for the car. I quickly sat up and tried to take a look at her but I was so late. The car had driven past. She must have been the girl Tre had been on about. I'll have to ask him when I get out of the car.
"Mike what are you doing?", I asked looking over my friends shoulder.
"Sketching what else does it look like?", he asked me. I pouted and shrugged. He had a good point I could clearly see him drawing the whole way here. The things make ended up creating on that sketch pad were amazing. This time it was a girl. A country girl. Like the one I had seen before. I made another mental note to myself to ask Tre who she was.
*END OF POV*
"I think my legs are stiff", Billie Joe announced getting out of the car.
"Oh don't complain", Mike told him stretching and helping Nat and Tre out of the truck. Nat rubbed her eyes.
"You okay sweetie?", he asked her. She nodded and smiled at him.
"Of course I am, I'm only here for the day I have school tomorrow unlike you lot", she said loudly making them all giggle like school girls.
"Oh don't complain", Billie said taking Mike's words. Mike frowned but that only made the two continue to laugh again until Billie said what he wanted to see before.
The girl who approached them wore a slightly tight green plaid shirt with a white long sleeve underneath. Her hair curled around her face and gently rested on her shoulders with the colour of it matching her tight black jeans and converse. She was gorgeous.
"Tre you're back", she squealed hugging the young boy. He hugged her back lifting her gently into the air smiling at seeing her again.
"I've got so much to tell you", she told him, "Ethan and I went back to the Timmin's estate and walked into the house", she started again, "But first introduce me to your friends". Tre smiled and put and arm around her introducing them one by one. They all smiled and made themselves welcome.
"Mike she's gorgeous", Billie Joe whispered. Mike nodded and looked at him.
"Don't you get any idea's Billie Joe", Mike warned him. Billie shook his head.
"Not at all, not at all", he reassured Mike smiling sweetly.
"So are you all coming for the camp fire tonight?", Stef asked. The boys smiled at each other and Nat excused herself saying she had school to attend to.
"Of course we'll be there", Billie said, 'Just an excuse to hug you and keep you warm', he thought quietly.
"Yeah I'll be there. What about you Tre?", Mike asked. Tre smiled.
"Course I will", he told them keeping an arm around Stef. He noticed uneasiness in Nat and walked over to her behind the car.
"Babe you alright?", he asked her.
"Yeah I'm fine", she let out shooting a glance over at Stef who was talking to Mike and Billie Joe, "Its just I'm going to miss you", he told him kissing him gently. He kissed back smiling and giggling. He had a look in his eye she hadn't yet seen but it was cute.
"I'll see you in a few days alright?", she told him. He smiled yet again and helped her back into the car before he watched her drive off,
"Tre!", Stef sang out aloud walking over to him. She jumped up onto his back and wrapped herself around him forcing him to carry her, "I missed you". He smiled and walked them both over to Mike and BJ. Stef played with his hair along the way making him giggle ever so slightly.
"Did you miss me?", she asked him. It had been awhile since the two had seen each other. He nodded and put her down looking at her.
"You look so different".
"Haven't been to the rock pools in a while".
"Oh! How come?".
"That's what I had to tell you about".
"Why what's wrong?", he asked her noticing her expression drop. She took a deep breath in and explained how she had felt something touch her while they were in the house.
"It wrapped its arms around me Tre, and it was cold and icky", Stef explained, "I've never felt something like it before in my life". Tre held her close and rested his head on top of hers being tall enough to as he rubbed her back gently and caringly.
"Stef its okay, it wont happen again I promise", he told her knowing how hard it was to scare her, though she seemed alarmed at this.
"Okay, you and the boys go get ready. Its dark so I should start the fire up", she told him. Tre nodded and cuddled her again walking off with the boys to the house but as he did it felt as if somebody was watching him and following him although there was nothing or no one except for the 3 of them in sight...
