Where did Tre go!?, chapter 4
"That Nosnam lady was freaky." Billie said as they were sitting in his and Adrienne's living room.
"Yea. But it's cool that Tre can escape from a mental institution. But still, where did he go?" Mike asked.
"Well, there's always tomorrow." Adrienne said.
"No, we can't sit around here and wait. We have to find Tre." Billie said standing up. Then he sat down. "But we don't know where he is."
"Yea....but come on. Let's go see if we can find him." Mike said.
They had taken 3 separate cars. Mike drove around near Tre's neighbor hood. Billie drove around in downtown Oakland. Adrienne drove around near Mike's and Billie's house. Tre was nowhere to be found. They met back up at Mike's house.
"So you couldn't find him?" Billie asked Mike.
"Nope. I had asked about 10 people too." Mike said.
"You didn't see him either Adrienne?" Billie asked her.
"Sadly, no. I looked everywhere. I went up to a couple houses to ask if they had seen him." Adrienne said.
"Well, we might as well go back to our house." Billie said.
They drove back to Billie's house. Mike hadn't drank any coffee in a long time, He said he wasn't going to until they had found Tre. He kept his eyes on the road, but it was hard without the caffeine. Billie seemed to have a tear in his eye, but he wiped it away quickly. Adrienne kept telling herself that this was all a dream. She didn't want it to be real, but she knew it was.
When they got back to Billie's the phone rang. Adrienne answered it. "Hello?.....Ok....Yea.....Where are you?......Ok.....Your what?.....Ok....We're on our way." she then hung up.
"Who's that?" Billie asked.
"It's Tre." she said.
"Yea. But it's cool that Tre can escape from a mental institution. But still, where did he go?" Mike asked.
