Tre And Julia, chapter 1

Tre was wearing his sunglasses and leather jacket as he walked into a coffee house in Philedalphia 2 days before a concert there. As he sat down, the waitress came over and his phone started ringing. Tre took his phone out and looked at who was calling. It was Billie Joe.
"Hello?" Tre said into the phone. The waitress just stood there and waited.
"Tre, what are you doing?" came Billie Joe's voice. Tre groaned.
"I'm getting out of that place for while so I can get some food or something," he said back and he hung up the phone. The place he was talking about was the place where the band was practicing for the concert. Tre put his phone away and smiled at the waitress.
"Just a coffee," he said. The waitress nodded. She walked away and Tre relaxed in his chair. The cellphone started ringing again. Tre looked to see who it was and he shoved it back in his pocket. It was Mike this time.
"Shut up people," Tre mumbled. But the phone kept ringing. 5 minutes after it stopped, it started rung again. Tre groaned and went up to the counter.
"Can I have that to-go?" he asked. The waitress nodded and handed him a styrofoam cup. Tre smiled and handed her a 5 and told her to keep the change. Tre went out the door and onto the sidewalk, but he wasn't going back to the studio. He was just going to wander around the city to see if Billie Joe and Mike could find him and drag him back. He called a cab and, regretingly, took off his sunglasses. He stepped in the car and told the driver, "Walker Ave.". The driver nodded and looked back at her passenger. Her eyes got wide and her cheeks flushed. She couldn't talk or move.
"Are you ok?" Tre asked. The girl turned around and started shaking like crazy.
"Lady?" he said again. Tre got out of the cab and went to open the front door. The girl was just staring ahead.
"Are you ok?" he repeated. The girl nodded and put her head in her hands and her elbows on the steering wheel.
"I'm sorry, sir," she said. "I must be looking like a freak by now." *HONK* the car horn was pressed by her elbows. Tre chuckled.
"No," he said. "It's fine, I'd have to say that I get this a lot." The girl giggled herself.
"So you are Tre Cool?" she asked. Tre nodded. The girl bent over the seat beside her and took something out of a backpack. It was an autograph book. Tre smiled and took it out of her hands. She also handed him a pen.
"Thanks so much," she said. "I'm a huge fan." Tre chuckled again. He was still on one knee on the pavement. He handed the book and pen back to her. She looked his autograph and blushed again. She put it back in the backpack next to her and Tre stood up.
"So," she said. "I'll take you to Walker Ave. now." They both laughed and Tre got in the back seat. He looked at the driver's tag. The girl's name was Julia Holmes.
"Julia," Tre said out loud by accident.
"Yeah?" Julia said. Tre's eyes jolted from the tag to her face, which was looking at Tre instead of the road.
"Look out!!" he screamed. The car was headed for a phone pole. *CRASH* the front end of the car smashed into the pole as Julia's head jerked around to the windshield. She started crying. Tre jumped out of the car and went to the front seat again. She had her head in her hands and her elbows on the steering wheel again. *HONK* She smacked the wheelwith her fist and sat back in her seat and tried to unbuckle the seat belt. It wouldn't give.
"Help, Tre!" she said, yanking at the belt. Tre bent over her and pulled at it. It still wouldn't let go. He ran around to the other side and opened the passenger door and pushed the backpack on the ground. He sat in the seat and pulled again.
"What the..." he murmured. "Do you have a pocket knife or anything?" She pointed to the glove compartment. She coughed.
"Ouch," she said, pulling on the belt. It was getting tighter. Tre rumaged through the piles of paper and found a pocket knife. He popped it open and started sawing through it. It finally ripped and Julia started coughing and coughing.
"Are you ok?" Tre said, putting away the knife. Julia nodded and got out of the car.
"I'm so sorry," she said. "I could have killed you." Tre shook his head as she started crying again. Tre walked over and hugged her. She hugged him back and slammed the car door shut.
"It's partially my fault," he said as they broke apart.
"How?" she asked.
"I said your name and made you look back at me." She shook her head. Tre apologized and offered her a coffee. She nodded and they went walking back to that same coffee shop.

Tre's phone started ringing and it was Billie Joe again. This time, Tre answered.
"Hello?" he said.
"Tre, get your ass back in this studio!" Billie Joe said. "Where are you?"
"I'm at the coffee shop downtown," Tre confessed.
"Well me and Mike are coming down there," Billie Joe said and hung up. Tre hung up, too.
"Who was that?" Julia asked as she took a gulp of coffee. "Ah!" She spit out all the steaming coffee and jumped up. So did Tre.
"I'm so sorry!" Julia apologized as a waiter came over with a thousand napkins. All three started cleaning up and got it done in a few minutes.
"I'm such an idiot!" Julia said, eyes watering.
"It's fine, Jule," Tre said, picking up napkins. Julia just stood there in shock.
"I can't beleive it," she said to herself. "He gave me a nickname!" She smiled and bent down to keep cleaning. When it was all done, they sat back down and Julia took a couple of ones out of her pocket.
"I'll get this," Tre said, smiling. Julia smiled, too. The door to the resturant opened.
"Tre! Get your ass over here!" Mike yelled in Tre's direction. Billie Joe was next to Mike. Mike looked around in the resturant. It was half full and everyone was looking at them and whispering to their table-mate. A little girl came over for an autograph. Mike smiled and he somehow forgot about Tre. He got down on one knee and signed her paper. She smiled and hugged Mike and walked away. Soon, they both were being attacked by autograph papers. Tre had a few people asking for his, too.

After everyone got an autograph, Mike and Billie Joe went charging for Tre, who took Julia's hand and dodged for the door.
