Tre And Julia, chapter 2

"Ah!" Julia said as she was pulled to the door. Tre dragged her around the table and to the door. He knocked over Billie Joe, who fell on the table. As Tre and Julia ran out, Mike started chasing after them. However, Tre and Julia went into a nearby store before Mike saw them.

"What the hell?!" Julia yelled as they hid among the racks of pants in Banana Republic.
"Shh!" Tre hushed her as he saw Mike spin around in circles looking for them. He finally headed back to the coffee shop to help Billie Joe.
"Phew..." Tre said as he came out from behind a pair of Mudd jeans.
"What the hell was all that about?" Julia repeated. "Why were we running?" Tre dusted off his jeans.
"They been trying to take me back to that crowded little studio," he finally answered. Julia rolled her eyes as she brushed off her own pants.
"Yeah," she said. "That's a real reason to run."
"Well sorry, I just hate that place. We can't get through one song without Billie Joe talking or something like that." Tre said in his defense.
"Still, no reason to run and drag me the whole way." With that, Tre apologized and they went back to the coffee shop to pay and all that stuff. Mike and Billie Joe had left, knowing that they couldn't get Tre.

After they came out of the coffee shop, Tre and Julia headed back to the wrecked cab.
"Ha, I guess I should've called some one as soon as this happened," Julia said, opening the driverside door. "I'll call the place now." She reached over to the passenger side and pulled a cellphone out of her backpack. Before she dialed any numbers, she sat up in the driver's seat and turned to look up at Tre, who was standing by the car.
"I guess this is good-bye," Julia said, stepping out of the car. She stuck her hand out for Tre to shake, but he shook his head.
"You can't get rid of Tre Cool that easily," he said. Julia looked at him and put her hand down.
"What do you mean?" she asked.
"Here," Tre said, handing her a peice of paper. "My cell." Julia went all wide-eyed as she slowly took the paper.
"Uh...why?" she asked, looking at the paper.
"Come on, I made you look away from the road which made you crash, I yanked on your wrist from the coffee shop to a store, I owe you something."
"But you already bought me coffee and apologized," she said, putting the paper in her back pocket. "You don't owe me nothing." Tre shook his head.
"Just call me sometime." he said, pulling a pair of sunglasses out of his own back pocket. He put them on and kissed her on the cheek.
"I better get back to the studio, or Billie Joe and Mike will be out for me for hours." he chuckled while he talked and Julia tried to giggle, but she was stiff from his kiss. She finally loosened up when he said, "bye". She waved as he walked away. She fell back in her car and laughed so hard that a group of teenage girls who were walking by stopped and asked if wshe was okay. She slowly stopped laughing and nodded. They giggled together and the girls walked away. Julia sat up and called the car place and waited there. She sat there for a about 5 minutes and took the paper out of her pocket.
"555-6434" she said to herself. She took out her cellphone and added it to her contacts. She sighed and sat there thinking about Tre and Billie Joe and Mike and what Tre had said and the crash...she was amazed that she had spent the day with one of the greatest drummers of all time.

The towtruck soon came and took the car. Julia went with the towtruck guy and lost her job, but was still happy.
