There Once Was a Magical Place Where It Didn't Matter, chapter 1

As she turned away from the computer, it seemed like it didn't matter anymore. People just don't care anymore. If you try to love someone, they rip it apart. If you try to state your opninon, they say it doesn't matter. If you try to stick up for yourself, they bring you back down to where you started.

Take her best friend for example. He's gay, and goddamn proud of it. But wherever he and his boyfriend goes, they get ridiculed. All they are trying to do is live and be happy. But no one will let them.

All she is trying to do is be in love with her boyfriend. But do people care? No. They say they feel like puking when they see them, they say that they are trying to make people jelous. 2 words for them. FUCK YOU.

The only thing she ever had in life was Green Day. Her idols. Her saviors. Her heros. The list would go on. A CD rack full of albums, vinlys, singles and even DVDs stood next to the computer, where she sat daily, taking an online beating for trying to love someone.

But the window popping up on her screen brought promising news.

Ownedbypaige: Guess what?
Pager: Gee I dunno. everyone on Geek Stink Breath hates me?
Ownedbypaige: No. I got tickets to the one...the only....the...
Pager: Green Day?
Ownedbypaige: Thats right love. Forget about all those people and have fun at the concert. Be watching for an envelope on your floor by your door.

"Oh yeah! A motherfucking Green Day concert!" yelled Paige while doing something that resembles a dance.

"Paige! What is going on?"
