A New Start In England, chapter 3
Weeks past and Charlie was getting more used to her life in England, she had made four good mates, Hayley, Kate, Sara and Jess.
**At Home**
"Hey Charlie, you wanting to decorate your room soon?"asked Billie Joe
"Wow yeah totally!"
"Cool, well your mom will take you down to the DIY store to pick up some paint and stuff in a bit"
**DIY store**
"So what colours you wanting?"Adrienne asked
"Red and black"Charlie replied
"Ok cool I'll race you to the paint section then" with this Adrienne started running towards the paint leaving Charlie to chase her pushing the trolley.
"Haha I won" Adrienne laughed as Charlie finally arrived
"Totally unfair, one, you got a head start. Two, I had to push this stupid trolley"Charlie replied in a moody tone
"Aww your just a sore loser"Adrienne said in a mocking tone
"Too right"
They picked up the paint and went back home. As they walked back in through the front door they saw that Billie Joe had been busy clearing Charlies room of all her stuff.
"Wow I have a lot of junk don't I" she laughed as she tripped over a box that she had no idea what it was full of. There were old guitars and even a bass that she didn't even know she had got.
"Yeah well you can go through all this shhh....Rubbish" Billie Joe quickly changed what he was going to say as he caught Adriennes disaproving eye..."Once we've finnished decorating"
"Fine I will...But only because I'm slightly curious what is in some of these boxes" Charlie said trying to open one.
So they began to paint her room, the walls were all red with a black border. However there seemed to be more paint on Charlie and Billie Joe onced they had finnished due to the small paint fight they had half way through the job.
"Yeah I think it looks crap" Billie Joe exclaimed, which resolved in two paint brushes being thrown at him one by Charlie and the other from Adrienne. So he ended up with a big red and black splodge on the side of his face.
"Oh I think you look so much better now we can barely see your face" Adrienne joked
"Definately I think you sould go on stage like that." Charlie joined in with the joke.
Billie Joe walked out in a huff and Charlie and Adrienne high fived.
They all cleaned up the brushed and each other of the paint and collapsed on the sofa.
"You know we really should clear up all this junk" Billie Joe said kicking one of the boxes and yelping in pain.
At this point Tre and Mike walked in the door.
"What the hell happened here? I thought Bush was only bombing Iraq" Laughed Mike.
"You any food?"Tre asked
"Yeah over in the kitchen"Adrienne replied
As Tre began to make his way over to the kitchen he tripped over one of Charlie guitars that had been dumped on the floor during Billie Joe's clearing of her room and ended up falling flat on his face. This caused the rest of them to fall about it fits of laughter.
**At Home**
