Ch. 7- Slow Country
"Damnit are you listening to me?! I said we're ok!" I yelled over the phone.
"I MEAN, WHAT IF YOU WERE KILLED?! LEX OMG! YOU SURE YOU'RE OK?! WAIT TILL I SEE THAT ASSHOLE! I KNEW TRE SHOULD'VE NEVER BEEN DRINKING OR TO LET YOU GUYS RUN OFF DRUNK!" screamed Ashley on the other line. 2-D sat beside me on my bed laughing. I grinned at 2-D.
"Ashley! Calm down!"
"CALM DOWN?! CALM DOWN?! YOU ARE BASHED UP LIKE A WALKING ZOMBIE, WHO NEEDS TO SEE A DOCTOR ABOUT YOUR WOUNDS AND YOU WANT ME TO CALM DOWN?!" I could hear Billie Joe in the background trying to calm her down. "Um Lex. I'm gonna hang up the phone before she decides to start smoking again. I'll have her call ya later."
"Alright, thanks Billie Joe. Bye." CLICK.
I sat there rubbing my neck after putting up the phone. 2-D wrapped his arms around me.
"So Lex, what now?" he asked looking at my neck. I was starting to annoy me that people were staring at my neck. It was making me want to take out my revenge on Murdoc even more! I rubbed my neck. I walked over to my stereo and put in a CD. I put it on number 14 and it began playing Slow Country. I sat on the bed hugging 2-D while the music played...
