Soda Pop And Ritalin, chapter 7

"Hey!" Mike said as he opened the door and saw Billie and Jackie standing on his doorstep. "Come on in!"
Jackie was wearing a black dress that stopped just before her knee, the converses and the charm bracelet that Billie had bought her and her dark hair that went to her shoulders was curled and looked so puffy that as they walked in Mike couldn't help himself from holding it lightly in his big hands. Billie was wearing a black shirt along with a red tie, a black leather jacket, a pair of black tight jeans making his bum look irresistible and a pair of classic black converses. Inside was packed with people who she had never seen before, balloons, confetti, people walking around giving champagne to people and loud music, all from they're new album.
"Wow, this is really good!" She muttered to Billie whilst looking around with wide eyes.
"I know, its really packed isn't it? I mean I don't know half these people."
"I meant the music but yeh, that too."
"Thanks!" he said looking at her before pulling her in and giving her a kiss. "You want something to drink?" He said when they had finished.
"Yeh sure, why not? I'll have archers and lemon please."
"Coming up." And with that he ran into the sea of people and Jackie was left alone just like the last party she had gone to.
"Billie wait!" She shouted after him making him brake hard and swivel round to face her.
"Yes?"
"Make that archers and lime."
"Sure." He said and ran off again.
Jackie restrained herself from being too clingy and overprotective. I mean just because Tom did this to her didn't mean it was going to happen again. Lightning never strikes in the same place twice.
She sat down on the sofa next to a rocky couple making out. She looked at them, then tried to fit in a smile between all the kissing. As she looked back she heard Mike's voice behind her.
"Mike!" She shouted making him jump a little. The couple, though, didn't even budge. "Come sit down here with me." She continued, patting the little space that was left next to here.
"Yeh sure."
Mike squeezed in between Jackie and the couple, looking a little bit claustrophobic. There was a long silence.
"You know these people?" Jackie said pointing towards 'the couple'.
"Umm, no. Actually I don't know half of these people."
They laughed awkwardly then Mike took a sip from his whiskey and said, "Well, I've actually got to go sort out some... . erm... . party... . shit. Anyway, see ya." And with that he left.
Jackie sighed then took a sip of the beer that was probably one of 'the couples' drink. After a while of sighing and muttering stuff to herself she soon got off the sofa as the couple kept kicking her and at one point almost kicked her off the sofa completely. She chucked the beer can behind her and burped loudly.
"Oops, sorry!" she said covering her mouth and blushing.
"I'm surprised that came from a beautiful thing like yourself." Billie said behind her.
Jackie swivelled round almost falling over causing Billie to drop one of the glasses and grabbing her arm, The glass smashed on the floor making three people stop their conversation but soon after continued not even offering any help to clean it up.
"Shit!" Billie said loudly then gave the remaining glass to Jackie and scurried off into the kitchen. Jackie was left again with her hand covering her mouth just staring at the broken glass. She then snapped out of it and stood around the glass pushing anyone aside who was about to step on it. She got tired of this and let out a relief sort of sigh as she saw Billie running up to her with a dustpan and brush.
"Finally, what took you so long? I had to stand here like a Chinese llama pushing all these people away."
"Sorry I couldn't find it... a Chinese llama?" he said as he looked up and smiled at her.
"Yeh, you now, a llama... you know... ah forget it." She blushed a little thinking what an idiot she had just been. Billie shook his head then looked back on the floor and started clearing away the glass.

Billie put the last bit of glass in the bin and turned around to look at Jackie. She was stood sipping Billie's drink and pulling faces. This made Billie laugh and he pulled her in as she looked confused as Billie had just laughed at her for no apparent reason.
"You are so sweet." He said and kissed her red, soft lips.
"Thank you." She said and gave him another long kiss. "You wanna go for a walk outside, it's getting kinda stuffy in here."
"Yeh, there's way to many people. Let me just go tell Mike." He smiled at her then turned away and walked towards the dinning room. Jackie bit her lip, tilted her head to the side and had a nice long look at Billie's bum until it was too far away. She couldn't help herself; it was too delicious for her.

"Err, Mike?" Billie said breaking up Mike and Mike's friend's conversation.
"Yeh!"
"Me and Jackie are gonna go for a walk outside for a while. It's getting kinda cramped. Hope you don't mind."
"No not at all. I could sure use a walk myself but I need to keep the guests happy I suppose."
"Thanks man."
"No problem."
Mike turned back round and faced his friend. Billie walked towards where Jackie was standing still biting her lip thinking about what she wanted to do to him when they were alone.
"Jackie?" he said and waved in her face.
"Huh? Yeh!"
"You ok?"
"Yeh, I'm fine. Ready?"
"Yeh, let me just get my coat." He grabbed the coat that was hanging on the hook next to a million other coats.
"You sure that's yours?"
"Yeh." He looked at it for a while. "Ah what the hey, I have loads of those coats and I'll bring it back anyway right?"
Jackie laughed then putting each arm in a sleeve she stepped outside into the dark street.

***
The moon was shining brightly on Jackie's face as Billie watched her. It was night but it wasn't cold which was strange for Jackie as she came from New York and by this time there would usually be snow. She loved it. The street lights shone a bright orange and there was nothing to be heard apart from the occasional bark and their own feet taking one step at a time towards the very place that they had met. They hadn't said anything for almost 10 minutes now and they weren't planning on either. They didn't want to spoil the peacefulness of the dark. Billie couldn't help himself from speaking as he felt like he had to say something.
"I'm so glad we're together. I didn't ever think I was gonna lose my virginity."
Jackie's eyes grew wide then realised how stupid it sounded and it turned into a cheeky smile as she punched him playfully on the arm.
"Billie Joe! Stop it. That wasn't even funny."
He laughed at how gullible she was then stopped her and faced her.
'No, seriously. I love you, and always will. You're so sweet and gorgeous and delicious I never wanna leave you."
Jackie looked up at Billie's green eyes and could tell that he was telling her the truth as he pulled her in close to his body. She could feel the heat from his body making her shiver and her stomach turned upside down as they kissed so passionately that she hadn't even felt like this the first time they kissed. Their tongues grazed each other's lightly and the kiss seemed to go on forever. Her eyes were closed but they started twitching as a bright light hit them. She opened them in the middle of the kiss only to find a car coming towards them. She pushed herself away from his lips and her eyes grew wider as the car came closer.
"Billie!" she screamed over the loud beep of the car's horn.
Billie looked to the side and saw the car. His reflection was quick as he rapidly pushed Jackie off the road causing her to fall to the side of the pavement. Her bare knees scraped on the floor making them bleed. She started crying but not because she had scraped her knees deeply but because Billie had been hit by the car and was now lying curled up on the road like he was in his mother's womb. His reflection hadn't been quick enough to get them both out of the way in time. His face and arms were cut by the fall and he didn't move an inch. Jackie crawled over to his body still crying hysterically and fell with her arms around his now stone cold body. The person who was in the car got out and started calling 911 on his mobile while she lay there holding his cold hand and telling him everything was going to be ok. He had saved her life. The peacefulness of the quiet night had now turned into a horror of crying and screaming as the rain fell down hard onto the ground.
