What life would be like..., chapter 2
Oh my gosh, Alannah thought, what if Emily and Maddy come home whoever was in there might kill them. Suddenly she turned the wheel trying not to hit the racoon or cat of whatever the hell that was on the road. The car swerved off the road and into a tree. Luckily Alannah wasn't hurt. The car was totaled though. "Uh oh," she said aloud realizing she had no idea where she was. All Alannah was sure of was that there was nothing around ecxept trees. Man oh man was she in trouble.
Billie Joe, Mike and Tre got into Billie Joe's car and Maddy and Emily got into Emily's car. "Lets meet back at my house in four hours." said Mike "Okay," said Maddy. Emily began to think like Alannah. Hell its not that hard when they've known eachother since 1st grade. Now where would Alannah go, Emily thought. "We'll never find Alannah she probably went some random place and with her going to colledge and not being here as much as us she doesn't know that much about this town," said Maddy worriedly. "Calm down we'll find her don't worry," said Emily not meaning it.
Alannah began walking. I hope my friends are okay, she thought. Alannah thought she heard something in the woods. "Hello," she said. Oh well it must have been a bunny or a bird. She thought trying to comfort herself. She could hear more noises. Footsteps almost. She knew if she looked back she's just scare herself so she just kept walking. She began to count the steps. 1... 2... 3.. Now the steps became jogging so she began jogging too 10... 11... 12... Now the steps were running 18... 19... 20, and she took off sprinting through the woods.
" Where would Alannah go," said Billie Joe. "I don't know thats why we're looking for her," said Tre. "Too bad we don't know her that well," said Mike. "Oh well lets just keep driving anyway," said Billie Joe.
They still couldn't find Alannah and Emily began to feel badly. If only I was more considerate and didn't leave her alone. Maybe she'd be okay right now. Then she began to think about how the house looked when they were there. Hmmm... Was there anyting suspicios. Suddenly she remembered some red blood colored writing on the glass door to the porch. Oh no what if it was written with Alannah's blood. What if the killer took her body out of the house, wrote something terrifying on the window, stole Alannah's car to hide the body and then came back to get Emily and Maddy. No no no, that couldn't happen. Alannah's somewhat smarter than that. Somewhat smarter. Okay she wasn't the sharpest knife in the drawer when it came to common sense, but she wouldn't let anyone get her without a fight. Suddenly Emily realize that Alannah had to be okay.
