Trashing The White House, chapter 2
The next day they were on the road all day so as you can imagine they were so bored they actually started to go crazy.
"Lalalalala" said Tre being bored.
"Tre what are you doing?" asked Katie curiously.
"Oh nothing."
"Yea. He's just being his normal self." said Mike.
They whispered to each other.
"And he is your favorite... " Jessica said with a big grin on her face.
"So... " replied Katie.
"So Billie are you guys working on a new CD?" Jessica asked.
"Lalalala"
"Yes."
"Ok good." Jessica and Katie said at the same time.
They all laughed...
"Well look we are almost there!" Tre said excitedly.
"Yea, but we still have 128 miles to go." Mike corrected Tre.
"Yea. I knew that... " Tre lied.
"Well is anyone hungry?" asked Billie
"I want some food!" Mike screamed.
"Ok well let's go in and get something to eat!"
"Ok." Katie added.
They walked into the gas station to get some food... Then when they go in Tre saw the cashier at the counter. And of course, he had to say something to her...
"Hey, what is your name?" Tre asked her.
"Um... It's on my nametag." the cashier said pointing out the obvious.
"You have to tell him he can't read... " Billie said with a little sarcasm.
"HEY! Yes I can read."
"Lindsay"
"Well, did it hurt?" Tre asked as if he had already said it once.
"What?" Lindsay asked back.
"When you fe... "
"Tre don't even try that line... " Mike said startling Tre.
"Maybe I want to be told I look like an angel," Lindsay added.
"You do?" Mike asked very confused.
"Yea. You heard her! She wants to be told that she looks like an angel." Tre said being a smartass.
"Yep."
Mike looked shocked at Tre then Lindsay and back to Tre.
"Whatever" he replied when he was finished.
Then he walked away to leave them alone.
"So... What kind of music do you like?" Tre asked once they were alone.
"Oh, I don't know almost anything... "
"Have you ever heard of a band called Green Day?" He asked another question.
"Um... Let's see... Duh!"
"I'm the drummer." He added.
"Yes. I know"
"I think if she knows who Green Day is, she would know that you are the drummer." Mike said pointing out the obvious again.
"Well I'm sorry. I just thought that since she didn't scream "OMG! IT'S GREEN DAY!" Tre said trying to cover up the mess he made.
"Well I usually don't do that when I meet people that are famous." She said helping him out.
"Well, when do you get off? And would you be able to come with us to Washington D. C.?" Billie asked her.
"Actually, I get off right now. And don't go back to work for another three days."
"Ok good. You can come with us then." Tre said jumping up and down.
"It would be my pleasure."
"Ok let's go!" Katie said as she walked into the conversation.
They all went out to the car and got in.
"So do you know how much longer it will be until we get there?" Lindsay asked as they got into the car.
"Well, we have about 128 miles left." Mike answered her.
"I never realized I lived that close to Washington D. C." She said thinking hard.
"And you guys thought that I was dumb!" Tre said thinking that he out smarted them.
"I'm not dumb I just lack common sense sometimes... " Lindsay helping herself out of this one.
"That's the way Tre acts." Billie said giving her a pitiful look.
"He isn't that bad is he?" Katie asked.
"No just sometimes, he doesn't think before he talks." Mike said helping out his friend, even though it was hard.
"Sounds like someone I know... " Katie said.
"HEY! But your right I don't think sometimes... " said Jessica with stupidity.
They all laugh.....
They sat in the car for the ride there. Then when they finally got there, they ran out of the car. They went to White House to examine what they would have to do to get in. Tre walked around the outside of the White House, while at the same time trying to hide from the guards. After that, it finally hit him how they could get in. So right then he ran to the others.
"I have figured out how we can get in!" Tre screamed.
"Really?" Mike asked doubting his friend.
"Yes!"
"Now we have to figure out when would be a good time to get in." Billie said wondering how they would do it.
"Well, when would the president be away?" Lindsay asked thinking someone would know.
"I don't know... Maybe it will be on the news that he is going to leave tonight." Katie guessed.
"So we will watch the news tonight!" Jessica said.
"Sounds good to me." Tre added.
"Yea. Me too." said Mike thinking to himself if they would pull this off.
"Ok let's go to the hotel." Billie said as they got into the bookmobile.
