" Laura get out of the shower or I'll have to join you" Billie Joe laughed.
Laura got out of the shower and went to sit down next to Billie Joe on the couch. Tre came into the living room.
" You could have at least told me that you would just be in a towel, you'll get the couch wet!" Tre moaned.
" Billie Joe can I speak to you for a minute?" Mike asked.
Mike led Billie Joe through to the kitchen.
" What time's the surprise party at tonight?" asked Mike.
" Well what time will you and Carly be getting back from the cinema?"
" About half ten probably"
" Will two hours be enough to get everything ready?"
" Well it better be, i'll get Tre, Laura and Emma to help out" Mike said.
" Laura, Emma can you come here a minute?" Billie Joe said.
" Yeah sure what's up?" Laura said.
" Well you know the surprise party tonight will you help put the banners up and stuff?" Mike said.
" Yeah sure what time's it at, I'll have to go pick up her present from Channel" Laura said.
" Yeah I know, what have you got Carly, Mike?" Emma said curious.
" It's a surprise" Mike said with a grin on his face.
" No Mike tell me" Laura pleaded.
" No my lips are sealed"
" Well ok come on then Emma we better pick our outfits! "
So Emma and Laura left the room and told Carly some story about Mike having to give them a lift some place in the town. Even though the story was not very believable Carly was to sad that Mike hadn't even mentioned her birthday.
" Oh well hasn't Mike said anything about my birthday yet?" Carly said looking hopeful.
" Sorry Carly but not really." Emma said feeling pretty bad.
So the day went by and Mike diverted Carly by taking her out and taking her to the cinema and stuff while Tre,Emma ,Laura and of course Billie Joe were hard at work putting up the banners and setting up the stage in the hall her party was to be held at .
"Mike is there anything you've forgotten ?"Carly said.
"No I don't think so , why what's up ?"Mike said trying his best to keep a straight face.Carly was in disbelif how could her boyfirned forget his girlfriends 21st birthday ?Well,she thought you never know he could be planning something later or maybe that's just wishful thinking she thought. But little did she know that tonight would be a night she'd never forget.
"Come on then it's time we should be getting to the cinema the film starts at half 8 "Mike said .Mike drove Carly to the cinema .After the film they both went back to the car.
"The film was good wasn't it ?"Carly said putting on a brave face .
"Ye I'm not tired yet though"Mike said cheekily.Carly laughed and grinned .
Mike drove Carly to the hall and told her that he needed to pick up Tre's drumkit and he needed some help.Mike went into the hall followed by Carly who was now getting quite upset as it was now 11 o clock and Mike still hadn't mentioned her birthday.They walked into the hall ....
"SURPRISE!!!!!!!"Everyone shouted.
