Secret Affairs, chapter 11
"OMG Mike did you do this ?!"Carly asked shocked.
"You didn't think I'd honestly forget your birthday did you ?"
"Well for a minute I did wonder.."
Before Carly could finish what she was saying Mike gave her a long kiss.
"Oooohhh"Everyone shouted.But this didn't stop Mike ;)
Mike ran on stage where Billie Joe and Tre were set up .Above the stage it read "HAPPY 21st CARLY!!"in bold green (of course) writing.
GD preformed 'She' to the small audience , friends and family .And then what everyone had been wating for. (except Carly,as she never new about it ).
Mike pulled Carly up on stage and went down on one knee.
"Would you marry me ?"Mike said holding up a box with a large diamond ring in side, as Tre did a drum role jokingly. Carly's eyes fludded with tears of happiness.
"Yes!"Carly said.Everyone applauded. Mike led Carly off into the back room kissing her on the way but it didn't stop there....
During the party Billie Joe, Tre and one of Tre's friends who was taking Mike's place who was currently "busy" played songs such as Basket Case, Geek Stink Breath, Hitchin' a Ride and I Dont Want to Fall in Love (which didn't really seem appropriate as Carly and Mike had just got engaged and Billie Joe and Tre were going out with Laura and Emma) But this didn't seem to bother Laura or Emma. The party went on and Carly and Mike, who was now wearing lipstick, came back into the hall. It was now going on 2 am and everyone was getting sleepy after all the comotion. Tre drove back with Emma to the flat, Laura with Billie Joe and Mike with Carly who were now engaged. Back at the flat The guys still seemed to have some energy left over ..
The next day GD, Carly, Emma and Laura were getting ready to make a move to Manchester to persue their tour.
In the bus they guys and girls were joking around and Carly was admiring her new diamond ring which was huge! Billie Joe made a move to the bathroom "so that Laura could fix his hair" while Tre and Emma were discussing shoes .The coach arrived and screaming fans awaited them.
The guys went to do a few rehersels and sound checks as Emma, Carly and Laura went to check out the shops in Manchester.
"Oh Emma you know what we forgot to do last night?"Laura said.
"What "said Emma.
"Give Carly her prezzie!"
"Aww you shouldn't have !"Carly said.
"Well come on then it's waiting in the hotel."Laura said leading the way back to the hotel. Laura pulled out the Channel box and handed it to Carly and Emma passed her a small box. Carly opened the presents while Laura and Emma watched on eagerly.
"OMG Laura that must have cost you a fortune!"
"Well not as much as that huge diamond on your finger cost anyway and it is your 21st."Laura said admiring to beautiful blue silk dress and matching shoes.
"Emma! You shouldn't have it's beautiful, I mean you guys shouldn't have spent so much I mean were did you find that kind of money."Carly said astonished.
"Well don't get me wrong Billie Joe and Tre do give us some cash from time to time "Laura said laughing.
"Come on, I'll go and try on my new gucci watch and Channel outfit."
Carly came out of the bathroom looking beautiful .
"Carly you look lovely "both Emma and Laura said.
"Let's go and show the guys."
