Secret Affairs, chapter 4
"So what is it you want to tell me ?"Tre said
"Well you know how i'm seeing Billie Joe ?"
"Yeah, what has something happened between you and Billie Joe?"Tre asked looking worried.
"Well no it's just well..well I think I like someone else."
"Who you can tell me, I won't tell anyone you konw i won't." Tre said concerned.
"Well ok but promise you won't laugh ."
"Honest I won't . Who is it?" Tre said beginning to become frustrated.
"It's you Tre."
Tre couldn't speak he was lost for words .
"Well i wasn't expecting that but I have to be honest I think I feel the same way about you "
"Really ?Well I'll explain everything to Billie Joe later "Emma said releaved.
Laura came back to sit down with them .
"Hey you guys. You wouldn't believe who that was Tre that was your old friend from 8th grade."
Tre didn't say anything he was still thinking about what Emma had just told him .
"Tre is everything alright?" Laura asked him
"Yeah everythings fine. I think we have something to tell you ."
"Me and Tre have decided that we like each other and.."Emma said
"Really? That's great! Have you told Billie Joe yet?"
Laura seemed a little too happy about this but Tre and Emma didn't notice they were too happy about getting together.
Tre, Emma and Laura walked home Laura, on purpose walked ahead and claimed that she needed to get back so that Tre and Emma could work everything out.

"Billie Joe I need to speak to you" Emma said looking very guilty.
"Yeah sure" Billie Joe said who didn't seem too interested in talking whatsoever.
"Billie Joe I think I like Tre" Emma blurted out.
"Oh" Billie Joe said very taken aback. But quite happy that he wouldn't have to explain about him and Laura.
"Well if that's what you want well that's ok I suppose. We're still friends right?"
"I'm so glad you've taken this so well. I new you'd understand." Emma said.
Billie Joe and Emma walked back into the living room. Tre seemed very suprised that Billie Joe didn't look mad. And Laura was all too happy that everything had gone so well. Emma went to sit next to Tre. Carly and Mike burst into the room carrying pizzas and beers looking very happy
"Who's for pizza!" Carly said who could now speak.
"What? What's going on?" Carly said looking puzzled.
"Yeah, you all look very guilty" Mike said.
"Oh nothing much just a few things needed sorting out" said Billie Joe.
"Laura, can I speak to you for a second?"
"yeah, sure Billie "
Billie Joe led Laura into the kitchen away from everyone else.
"Did Emma tell you ?"Billie Joe said.
"Yeah it saved us alot of hastle having to explain everything.."
Billie Joe kissed her before she could finish what she was saying.
"Come on let's go back in and have some pizza" said Billie Joe
