Secret Affairs, chapter 5
"Come on you guys hurry up !" Laura yells to Carly and Emma.
"Yeah ok keep your hair on !"Carly shouts back.
Carly and Emma run frantically into the kitchen in their new outfits.
"Right, let's go Billie Joe's waiting in the car outside if we don't hurry he'l be late for his opening concert!"
The trio leave the flat and Laura locks the door behind her."OMG! What was that!"Carly screamed.
Carly swore something moved from behind the bushes and trees.
"Oh be quiet Carly it's probably just a cat or something"Emma said reasuringly.
But Carly wasn't so sure. She saw a figure move amongst the trees. Carly never said anythnig but she new somethig was up .Emma,Carly and Laura stepped into Billie Joe's blue ford and set off to the concert.Laura saw a car pull out behind them at suspiciously the same time as them.
"That's odd , I could have swore there was no-one in that car when i was waiting ." Billie Joe said starting to be a little shaken.
Secretly Emma was also a bit scared about the strange figure Carly saw and now the suspicious car who pulled up behind them .On the way to the concert Billie Joe noticed that the car was following them all the way to the concert the car pulled up 2 cars across from them . Billie Joe went up to the car to check out everything was ok.
"Hey, is anyone in there ?"Billie Joe said.
Slowly the window came down and a shadow could be seen from inside the car.
"Hey look, Are you going to this concert or are you following us?"Billie Joe said putting on a tough front.
"Oh yeah sorry , im just a big fan you know and well I just wanted to go see you guys."the man said.
"Oh, ok well em look forward to seeing you in there then." his eyebrow slightly raised. Strangly the man never stepped out of his car to go to the concert he just sat there. Billie Joe looked back but the man still never budged.
That's one wierd guy. Billie Joe thought to himself.
Billie Joe went back to his car to see if the girls were ok. They were gone.
"OMG Billie Joe muttered to himself. He frantically ran into the concert looking for Mike and Tre to tell them. To his relief there they were having a drink with Mike and Tre.
"OMG I thought something had happened with the car and everything.."
"Is someone scared?" Tre teased.
Mike laughed.
"Look you guys this is serious. Some strage things happened on the way up and.."
"And I saw something move outside the flat." Carly said backing up what Billie Joe had just said.
"God this sounds serious !" Tre said .
Mike just laughed.
"What? It's not like anythings really gonna happen is it? Is it? Mike said hesitantly.
Mike turned round to talk to Carly but she wasn't there.
"Where's Carly ,Has she went to get another drink or something?"
"Sorry Mike I don't know, I never saw her leave" Billie Joe said.
"Me neither "said Tre, Laura and Emma.
