"Billie!"
"Huh? Oww! What are you hitting me for?"
"You were falling asleep again and your cell phone rang. It's Mike."
"But I'm tired!"
"You are also driving a car. Just talk to Mike."
"Fine...Hello?"
We had been driving for a couple hours and Billie was really tired. We had already stopped six times to buy him energy drinks and coffee but he still kept falling asleep. He was finally all the way awake and whatever Mike was telling him must have been really important, because Billie was looking really worried.
"Billie? What is it?"
"It's...Adie. She started a bonfire. With all my stuff. Mike said he managed to save some of my guitars but almost everything was burned before he got there."
"Woah...I'm so sorry Billie."
"Mike said he took all my stuff to Tre's house. Is it ok with you guys if we meet him there?"
Katy, who had been sleeping in the back seat, jumped up when she heard Tre's name.
"YAYYAYAY!!!! I'm gonna see Tre Cool!!!"
"Umm...Taren? Is your friend ok?"
"Yeah...she really likes Tre."
A while later we were driving up to Tre's house. Katy could barely control herself. When Tre answered the door she jumped on him and he fell to the ground. She hugged him for a while, and she probobly wouldn't have let go if I hadn't pulled her off of him.
"Well hello to you too!"
Billie laughed. Katy just stood there blushing.
"Hi. I'm Taren and this is my friend Katy."
"Hi Taren. Hi Katy. I'm Tre. But I am guessing you already knew that, huh? Or do you always hug complete strangers?"
Just then Mike walked into the room.
"Hey Billie! What's up with you and Adie? It's not like her to start a bonfire in your front yard for no reason."
"Oh...umm...about that...we just got into a little bit of a fight...thats all..."
Billie was looking really sad. He got distracted though, when Tre started yelling.
"Rape! Sexual harrassment! Help me!"
Katy was laughing really hard.
"Shut up Tre! I wasn't harrassing you. All I did was ask you a question!""
"But we all know you wanted to..."
"You know Katy, Tre is right. Remember when you told me you wanted to..."
"Shut up Taren! No one needs to hear that!"
Mike had been looking really distracted the whole time. Finally he spoke up.
"Hey guys? I'm bored. Since all we're doing is talking, wanna go do something?"
"Like what?"
"I dunno...maybe get some coffee or something..."
"Sounds good to me. What about you Tre? Are you guys ok with it?"
"Yeah!"
Me and Katy hopped into the backseat with Tre. Katy wouldn't shut up. I knew how she was feeling though. It was her birthday, and instead of sitting at home, she was going to get coffee with her favorite band, sitting next to her favorite person in the whole world.
