Can You Stand the Rain?, chapter 2

Peaches and I went to the mall, just as he promised, to go shopping. We were going to my favorite place called Water Colors, where Peaches first worked at. That's kind of how we met. We were two crazy 18 year olds, fresh out of high school, with college set in our minds. Peaches was at the register, with a light pink shirt on and a nametag that read "Justin". Yep, Peaches's real name is actually Justin, and he hates that his mother still calls him that today.

"Justin" had asked me out on a date, and probly on our 3rd date he told me that he really loved dudes, and that this was just to prove to his brother that he could score a girl. I shook it off, and told him that as long as he never did that again to any other girls, we could stay friends. I'll never regret those dates we went on,
Because I found my soul guy friend in the process. My soul girl friend is Hannah, but you'll have to wait a little longer for her.

**At the mall**

Peaches and I walked through the mall, Auntie Annie's pretzels in our hands, towards the boutique. Our feet led the way to the small shop, where the distinct smell of vanilla and strawberry filled our noses, remiding us of times way back when. We both quickly finshed our pretzels and Peaches slid his shopping shoes on (don't you dare ask) and we went through the whole boutique, checking out all the new items that had been added since the last time we were there.

I had found this perfect shirt; it was a black, sleeveless tunic that had showed some cleavage. There were tassels that came off of the left side. "Peaches, love, what do you think of this one?" I asked him, putting it up in front of me. He smiled. "If you don't by it, I'll have to get it for you." I bit my lower lip in exitement. "I'm going to go try it on." I found an empty fitting stall and shut the door behind me. I took off my shirt and put on the tunic.

It was like magic how it fit me, making me look stunning. I opened the stall to an opened mouthed Peaches. "You look beautiful. Your making me wish I wasn't gay now." he said giving me a hug. "C'mon now, put your shirt back on and lets get a move on. We still have to get you a pair of jeans to go with it, and some kickass shoes." He pushed me gingerly back into the dressing room where I changed back into my regular clothes.

We stayed in the shop for a nother ten minutes until Peaches found me these really cute boot cut jeans with rips in them. I tried them on and bought them soon after that. We finished in the store and went into All My Shoes.

After five minutes of no luck, Peaches walked up to me." Becky dear you have to try on these." he said to me, holding up a pair of black stilettos. "Hand over the shoes and back away." I said, holding out my hands. He gave them to me. "Take good care of these, they look like keepers." I giggled as I tried them on.

Today was my shopping day, because they fit perfectly, with no uncomfort for me. We bought the shoes and left the mall, but not before we could go to Auntie Annie's and get another pretzel.

Everything was set up perfect. I knew what I was going to wear and how my hair was going to look. Peaches and I got home around 6, painted my nails black, ate the pretzels and watched Queer Eye for the Straight Guy all night. All I knew was that soon enough, at 7:30 tomorrow night I would be with MIKE DIRNT!
