Green Days, chapter 1
“Hey pass this to Billie Joe,� I whispered to Brittany.
“Okay,� she said as she passed the note to Billie Joe. “I don’t see why you like him I mean his cute but he’s such a trouble maker and different?�
“And Chris ain’t.� I whispered back to her, “ Anyway I li……�
“Miss Sutton and Miss Green, be quiet before I send you to the hall.� Mr. Williams said.
“Yes sir.� we said
After class, Billie Joe came up to me and said’ “Yeah sure I’ll go. See you after school, pick you up at 6:00 pm.� Billie Joe and me kissed and said good bye while running to our classes. Fourth period was so long it felt like ages. I need to hurry up and get home. 3:10 finally came and the bell ranged. I threw my books in my locker said bye to Mike who I saw in the hall. Then I ran down to my car. *Okay Ashley now what are you going to tell your parents saying they don’t really like him. How long can I keep this secret from them* Lex ended my thinking, “Hey unlock your door please it’s COLD out here, my gosh it’s like -32 degrees out here!�
“Okay,� I said, I turn the key in the car and left the parking lot. “It’s only 28 degrees out there.� I told her joking around.
“Ha, ha, ha, so are you and Billie Joe going? And are you telling your parents?�
“Yes and no. Who are you going with?�
“Mike, but back to you, you and Billie have been going out for four months and still not telling your parents.�
“If I tell I can’t see him but if I don’t tell I get to stay with him, and my mom and me are not on the same page right now. So can we just don't talk about my parents or Billie Joe?"
“Okay.� We talked awhile longer and I let her out at her house and I went home.
*Ok it’s 4:20 pm, mommy will be home in one hour and ten minutes , so I better get ready.* I went and took a bath, dried my hair, and got dressed. My mom came home late that day, which I was happy. I heard my little sister tell my mother something and she came in my room.
“Who you going to the party with?� asked my mom.
“What party?� I asked playing dumb
“ You no what I’m talking about, don’t play dumb with me.�
“No you special.� I told her putting on my ear ring.
“It’s Billie Joe Armstrong! Lizzy told me.� *Why in the hell did I tell my little sister about that. Dang it.
“Remember I asked you awhile back and you said I’ll think about it so I figure that was a yeah.�
“No I said I’ll think about it and that’s all!�

“He’s here,� I said grapping my coat up.
“Ashley Victoria Sutton, you better not leave this house with him!� she yelled.
“Why do you dislike him so much?�
“Because, because, I said i just don't.�
“So you don’t have a good reason do you,� I yelled back.
“Listen child don’t question me!�
“I’m leaving if you like it or not!�
“If you leave don’t come back!�
*Okay should I stay or should I go? Crap, if I leave I want get to stay here I’ll be mad and my mom would have won, but if I go I’ll be happy and I’ll be with Billie Joe and mommy would lose. Okay I decided*
