Rock And Roll Girlfriend, chapter 7

*Taylor's pov*

I looked all around me. Christie Road. Most people wouldn't think it was that special. I mean, all it seems to be is railroad tracks. It is more beautiful than that. There are these really cool hills you can see. There are also these big rocks where you can just sit down. The most important reason for me to like this place is because it is special for Billie Joe.

"Yea, it's pretty peaceful here. I used to go here when I cut school and Mike wouldn't. It's just the perfect place to think, you know?" Billie Joe said taking a cigarette out from his back pocket.

"I do know. This is really great. You're really great," I said taking the cigarette out of his mouth before he lit it. I kissed him gently. We broke apart and he smiled.

"What was that for?" He said. He looked at me with his amazing green eyes.

"Just for being too darn cute, : I said in a fake southern accent pinching his cheek.

"Ow don't do that. You remind me of one of my aunts or something." Billie Joe picked me up. I wrapped my legs around him, his hands resting under my thighs.

"I bet you don't pick your aunts up and carry them around."

"You're right. Only you."

Billie and I sat at the edge of the railroad track. His arm was around my middle and my head was resting on his shoulder. I was writing away in my notebook. Billie Joe tore the book out of my hands. He flipped through the pages slowly, ready ever song I have written in it. I felt so embarrassed. Only some people ever read my songs.

"Wow these are really good. What's this one about?" Billie Joe said, referring to a song I wrote at the beginning of my grounding. It was about him.

"It's about you. Can't you tell?"

"Well, 'green eyes making me melt' gives it away. Now I feel bad for not showing you the song that I wrote about you."

"You wrote a song about me? Really?" He nodded. "That's so sweet. It talks about how I am the greatest and the world shall bow down and worship me right," I joked. A wide smile spread across his face.

"Oh, but of course! Actually it is about how I think I'm wasting your time being in a relationship with you. You have everything going for you, Tayls. You are one of the smartest girls out there. You are a talented guitar player. I am a big fuck up." Billie looked down at the ground.

'Don't say that babe. You are, like, one of the BEST guitar players and singers that I ever heard. Seriously. Green Day could hit it big anytime now. Aren't you making you're second cd with Lookout! Records? That's, like, huge," I said, resting my hand on top of his.

"I guess you're right. I feel really bad now. The cd should come out soon, but there is a song on it about my ex-girlfriend Adrienne. Do you care?"

I looked down at my shoe. Fuck yes I cared! I would never let him know that. Besides, he's over her. He likes me now. I love him. Yes, I realized it. The signs were all there. I was so happy, I cared about him, I got butterflies in my stomach every time we were together, and he wasn't out of my head for a second. I started gnawing at my nails. I always start to bite my nails when I get nervous.

"I don't care Billie. The thing is I, well umm, what I am trying to say is, uhh, love I you!" I sort of shouted at him.

"Wha? Say it slower and in English please."

"Billie Joe Armstrong, I LOVE YOU!" I kissed him and he fell backwards. I was lying on top of him.

"Well, Taylor Lynn Franklin, I love you more." He said.

We both got up ad started walking. When we got to the car, we started making out. He moved away from my lips and started to slowly kiss my neck. Billie Joe lifted my shirt over my head. I played around with his belt, trying to get it undone. Our breathing became heavy.

"Billie, do you have something," I moaned, my fingers running through his hair.

"I do," He said pulling a condom out of his pocket.

"I love you," I said, just above a whisper.

"Love you too."

*Billie Joe's pov*

After our little afternoon romp, Taylor and I drove around trying to find something to eat. We hadn't said much to each other after we had sex, but the joyful look in her eyes and her slight but happy smile said enough.

"So what do you want?" I asked her.
"I really don't care. Hey, forget food. Let's go see what Mike is up to." I took her suggestion.

I pulled up to Mike's place. I helped Taylor get out of my beat up car. I grabbed Mike's house key out of my pocket.

"You have a key?" She asked me all surprised. She does look cute when she is surprised.

"Yea. Mike, Tre and I all have keys to each others house. I truly regret giving Tre a key. He decides to come and 'visit' at the most random times. Once he decided to come at 3:00 am. I woke up the next morning seeing him jumping on my couch saying 'I've been here since three o'clock! ' I think you should have the key." She nodded.

We walked in Mike's house. I called his name a couple of times. I walked into the living room/kitchen. He wasn't there. I looked in the only place left - the bedroom. Taylor opened the door to find no one other than Emma playing tongue hockey with Mike.

"We're leaving now!" she shouted and ran out of the house laughing.

"What's so funny?"

"It's just your best friend and my best friend was in there hooking up."

"That is hilarious. Anyway, I have to take Cinderella home before she turns back into an ordinary girl. Never mind, you're an extraordinary girl in an ordinary world and you can't seem to get away."

"You're goofy," Taylor said with a kiss and I took her back to her house.
