Food Service and Green Day, chapter 3

"Pressure cooker pick my brain and tell me I'm insane.. I'm so fucking happy I could die! Every joke can have it's truth's and now the joke's on you.. I never knew you were such a funny guy..." Cassandra sang loudly. The truth was, Cassandra wasn't much of a singer. She could make the notes, but her voice was so high it could probably break a glass.

Billie Joe abruptly turned around as Cassandra was singing the last line and raised an eyebrow. A stewardess snatched away Cassandra's walkman and said," No singing on the plane. Or cussing, for that matter." She dropped it back into Cassandra's lap and with a sneer, went back to serving beverages.

Cassandra shrugged at the stewardess walked away and put her walkman back on, still rocking her head back in forth but not singing.

Tre, who seemed to not have noticed Cassandra sang, still continued with his choruses of "Are we there yet?"

Mike shook his head." Nope."

Cassandra finally put down her walkman and turned her attention to Tre's hair. It was so goddamn spiky.. She was temped to play around with it...

"HOLY FUCK THERE'S SOMETHING IN MY HAIR!" Tre yelped, jumping out of his seat in shock.

Billie laughed." That thing was a hand."

Tre wheeled around and looked at Mike, then Cassandra. Cassandra's mouth was gaping wide open and she sunk beneath her seat." Sorry. Didn't know it was you." She mumbled.

"Don't touch the hair." Tre scolded, and Cassandra was tempted to laugh but remained silent.

Cassandra dove underneath the seat to retrieve a pencil and when she bobbed up, three sets of eyes were staring at her. Two sets with eyeliner, one without." What? What? Don't stare!" She said angrily, crossing her arms.

Tre nudged Mike in the side." Hey, it's that girl from Jack in the Box! The one who dropped our food."

"Oh, and you have to remember me by 'the girl who dropped your food'." Cassandra said irritably.

"Why are you on the plane? Are you a creeeeepy stalker?" Tre said.

"No, I'm seeing you guys in Japan." Cassandra said, turning her attention away from them and staring at the minescule screen the in-flight movie was playing on. It was the Goonies." Dammit, I hate the Goonies." She muttered.

"Are we in Japan yet?" Tre said, turning around, crossing his arms like Cassandra did only a few minutes ago.

"No, not yet.." Mike said drowsily." Let me sleep, please.."

And within a few hours, all three members of Green Day were fast asleep.
