Two Twins, Their Idol, And A Green Day Competition, chapter 16
<p>I woke up, 7.30am. I dressed; I grabbed $20 off Hannah's bedside table and $20 out of my wallet and went out of the house. I found my way to IHOP, remembering the route we took with Jakob yesterday.<br />"You here again?" the woman behind the counter asked.<br />"Yeh, I'm doing breakfast for Billie Joe and the guys." I replied. I looked at the menu.<br />"What'll it be then?" she asked.<br />"Er. Three sets of four chocolate pancakes, two sets of four plain pancakes and ten waffles with syrup please." I asked. <br />"That'll be $24.99 please hun." She replied. I handed her the $40, she gave me two $5's and $5.01 in change. She gave me the stuff and I walked back to the house.</p>
<p>I put all the things on the table, with coffee and juice. I went upstairs and knocked on Joey's door.<br />"Come on Joey, breakfast's ready."<br />
"Kay." Came a reply. Then I went to Jakob's door, I knocked,<br />"Can I come in Jakob?" I asked.<br />"Sure." Came a sleepy reply. I walked in and sat on the end of the bed.<br />"Breakfast's ready. I want you to do something for me." I said.<br />"What?" he asked as he sat up.<br />"I want you to go to your mum and dads room and tell them we are all hungry and you want them both to come downstairs to the kitchen." I asked.<br />"Ok!" he said and he went down the hall to Billie Joe and Adrienne's room.<br />I went downstairs to wait for them to come down. Waking Hannah up as I went.</p>
<p>I waited downstairs kinda nervous. What if he doesn't like what I've got him? He should do.<br />Hannah came down with Joey.<br />"Wow!" they both said together.<br />"Shh! It's a surprise! Keep your voices down! Just sit down and don't eat anything yet." I said.<br />We waited, and waited, and waited.<br />"What takes them so long to come downstairs?" I wondered out loud.<br />"Oh, well dad has to do his hair and have a shower and get dressed." Joey replied.<br />"Oh for the love of God! It takes me less time to get dressed and I'm a woman!" I said tapping my fingers on the table.<br />"Yeah, it can take him up to an hour to get ready! That's where I get it from, I ain't even got ready yet." Joey said. Bleeding guys! Billie's more like a fucking girl when it comes to hair and make-up!<br />"I'm hungry!" Joey whined.<br />"Sorry you'll have to wait mate, your mum and dad are taking ages." I said darting a look up the stairs.</p>
<p>Billie emerged at the door, fully dressed along with Adrienne who was carrying Jakob.<br />"Finally!" I said a little too loud.<br />"What I don't take that long do I?" Billie Joe asked cocking his eyebrow.<br />"Er... nope." I said. He cocked his eyebrow again.<br />"Sure?"<br />"Yeah I'm good." I replied.<br />I walked into the kitchen, Billie and Adrienne followed.<br />"Jesus! What's this?" Billie said raising his eyebrows.<br />"Breakfast." I replied.<br />"Vicki, you didn't have to do this." Adrienne said.<br />"I wanted to do something because you and Billie Joe have done so much for Hannah and I this past what, week or so and we just wanted to say 'thank-you'." I said pulling Hannah over to stand next to me.<br />"We've all got four pancakes, two waffles with syrup and juice or coffee. Enjoy!" I said smiling.<br />We all sat down and ate.<br />When we finished I cleared the table.<br />"No Vicki, you've done enough. Joey do the clearing up please." Billie asked.<br />"But! Oh fine. Jakob!" Joey called.<br />"Joey your father asked you." Adrienne said giving him a 'go on, off you go' look.<br />"But Jakob is perfectly capable of putting away after I've dried them." Joey whined.<br />
"Yes but Jakob's six, he never puts the plates away in the right place. Did I ever ask you to do it when you were six?" Billie Joe stated.<br />"No." Joey sighed.<br />"Well then off you go." Billie Joe said nudging his head towards the door. Joey walked into the kitchen mumbling to himself. Me, Hannah, Billie Joe and Adie just sat there for a while. Jakob went upstairs to play.<br />Just then Joey walked in.<br />"That was quick." Billie queered cocking his eyebrow once again.<br />"oh I put everything in the dishwasher." Joey smirked.<br />"Ooo, you're just like your father!" Adrienne said smiling. "Now go off upstairs."<br />"That's my boy." Billie said as they went up the stairs.<br />"Girls. Shall we go shopping? Not for clothes but for Christmas presents." Adrienne suggested.<br />"Sure let me go get my money!" I said smiling and running up the stairs with Hannah following.<br />"Oh yeah, I took $20 out of your money to go towards breakfast and Billie gave us $25 each for last night so we should have around $52 each." I said.<br />"Yeah, about right, put it together and we'll have, lets see $104." Hannah said looking proud of herself.<br />"No shit." I mocked.<br />"Shut up!" she glared at me.<br />"Come on, lets go." I said grabbing her arm and walking down the stairs.<br />"You ready guys?" Adrienne asked.<br />"Sure are." I replied.</p>
<p>We spent the whole day out, they even shut down stores for her! We bought some Christmas presents for everyone. <br />Billie Joe: more eyeliner and some random aftershave set. <br />Mike: new bass pick, we had to go to a special shop for that because he has to have a certain pick and a liquor set. I brought him a tub of coffee as well just to take the piss. <br />Tré: no surprise there we got him alcohol, aftershave and eyeliner. <br />Jakob: some random action figure thing.<br />Joey: we brought him a X-box game.<br />I brought Hannah some eyeliner and a pair of jeans. We had $15 left, we walked in to a jewellers, Adrienne was in another shop.<br/>"Hi, what can we buy for $15 that doesn't look fake but looks really nice?" I asked the guy behind the counter. He brought out a few necklaces, some earrings and a few rings.<br />"Or there's this special, it's part white gold with fake diamonds in it." He showed us a necklace, ring and a pair of earrings.<br />"It's $15.99." he said.<br />"Oh, we only got $15." I frowned. Hannah reached into her pocket and pulled out a dollar.<br />"Great! What's the ring size?" the jeweller asked.<br />"Ah, don't know. We cant go ask her for her ring can we?" Hannah joked.<br />"I got an idea." I said walking out of the shop.<br />"Adrienne I need to ring Billie Joe. I really, really need to ask him something." I said.<br />"Er... ok but what?" she asked curiously.<br />
"Er... " I had to think fast. "something about one of the other guys." I said.
"Oh ok." She said handing me the phone. Yes she brought it. I looked through the phone book, found Billie Joe and called the number.<br />"Hello?"<br />"Oh, hi Joey it's Vicki, is your dad there I need to talk to him." I asked.<br />"Yeah sure, hold on. DAD!" Joey shouted.<br />"What?" I heard Billie's voice.<br />"Phone. It's Vicki. No not the house phone, your mobile." Joey sighed. I could picture him rolling his eyes.<br />"Oh ok. Hi Vicki." Billie said.<br />"Hi." I replied.<br />"You know dad, you can be as thick as shit sometimes." I heard Joey say.<br />"Get lost, go off to your girlfriends." Billie said.<br />"DAD!" Joey shouted. I heard a thud. Ha, Billie got hit.<br />"Ow! Oh you're gonna get it soon son, mark my words." Billie warned.<br />"I'm going!" Joey said. I heard the door slam.<br />"Sorry, yeah. Er what's wrong?" Billie asked me.<br />"Oh nothing serious, I just want to know what ring size Adrienne is, for her Christmas present." I informed him as I walked into the shop and sat down.<br />"Oh, right er lets see. The last one I brought her was a N." he said.<br />"And how long ago was that?" I asked.<br />"Oh, only about three months ago." He replied.<br />
"Thanks Billie, I'll see you soon, I don't think we'll be long now, cya in a bit." I said.<br />"Ok cya soon." He replied. I smiled.<br />"Bye Billie." I hung up.<br />"She's a size N." I said. The jeweller put the ring in the box along with the necklace and earrings. I handed him the money and we walked back to Adrienne.<br /> We went home and snuck the presents past Jakob and Joey. We had dinner, watched TV then went to bed.</p>
