You Can't Do This To Me Mike!, chapter 14
Tre was furious, he couldn't speak he was that angry, he stood looking at his once nest friend lounging on the floor with the back against the bed. Jason has tended Mike's wounds, if you call tended as cleaning them and strapping a bandage from the first aid kit on his foot. Mike's eyelids flickered, "he's waking up, he's waking up!" Jason called out to Tre. Tre didn't answer he stood staring at Billie, he couldn't believe that two days ago he was laughing and joking with this guy and in that short amount of time he could leave his wife, drive her to suicide, abandon his kids, career and friends to run away with his 'new found' lover. Tre's spine shook, he finally spoke, making Billie jump, "Why?" he spat. Billie looked up into Tre's eyes, once shining sky blue, now turned frosty and cold.
"I thought I was doing the right thing"
Tre's fist tensed, every word Billie said just made him want to punch him in the face. Mike had come to, he didn't open his eyes but he was taking in everything that was being said.
"You are taking the piss right?" Tre's words rumbled in his throat, every ounce of him was trying not to lunge at Billie again.
Billie shook his head slowly, "Tre I really did, I didn't know how you guys would take me and Mike and I just.... wanted to get away"
"From What? You knew perfectly well that me and the guys would be fine with you and Mike, you know of all people the kind of shit that happens on tour"
Billie's eyes grew wide, he shot a glance at Mike on the bed, "Tre....don't..."
"What? Billie Joe? What? you don't want Mike to know? You didn't tell him? and you were going to run away with him? Fucks sake"
"Tre"
"What? I think he should know about you and me..."
"TRE!"
"YOU AND ME FUCKING ON FUCKING TOUR!"
Mike's eyes shot open, he sat up, Billie's mouth dropped, he stood up backing against the wall, he stared at Mike,
"Billie" Mike swallowed, "Its' true isn't it?"
Billie nodded incapable of speaking,
"Oh...Bill" Mike shook his head, trying to hold back tears, he wouldn't cry, he couldn't show it,
"Billie you have some explaining to do I think" Jason softly spoke, interrupting the silence,
"I....i..." Billie flopped down on the floor, "I don't know what to say"
"Starting from the beginning might help" Jason added ushering Tre and Mike to sit down,
"Well..er..well me and Tre on tour...kind of...well you know and then after touring I started having feelings for Mike, feelings which have always kind of been there but just kind...well...got stronger....and well I found out Mike felt the same and I got too caught up in the excitement and being with him that I just didn't think things through and it just escalated and....I...I don't know"
Mike felt a wave of sympathy for Billie sitting there sobbing, he quietly walked over and hugged him drying his tears.
Tre stood up, he wasn't having this, "MIKE! YOU JUST HEARD HIM! IT'S...ALL HE THINKS ABOUT IS HIMSELF! HIS DOING! HIS MESS"
"Tre" Mike said softly, "He's your best friend, we all make mistakes, god knows you have."
"NOT ONES THAT JEOPARDIZE OUR FUTURE! GREEN DAY'S FUTURE! ADI'S LIFE FOR CHRIST SAKE"
Mike looked up, "What?" Jason coughed then told Mike about Adi, Mike's eyes widened, he stood up and the first tear fell from his eye,
Tre seized the opportunity, he dived on Billie, "YOU BASTARD, YOU FUCKING SELFISH TWAT!" He punched and scrapped at the singer with such fierce, Billie could barely fight back.
"Fucking hell" Mike roared, pulling Tre off Billie, swaying slightly at his aching head, "stop it, we've got to go back and check on Adi" Billie stood up, no one asked him if he was okay, his lip was bleeding and his eye was gashed.
He followed them out to Tre's SUV, Tre scowled at him, "Get in"

Mike turned to Billie in the back of the car, "Bill, I've been thinking, I do love you, I do want to forgive you, and I think you should stay with Adi, she and Joey and Jakob need you Bill and you know it"
Billie stayed silent, he nodded, "I'm sorry"
Tre scowled in the wing mirror, "Yeah so you should be"
"Like you have never made a mistake Tre Cool" Jason said softly, Tre jumped at this, "Not as big as his fuck ups"
"I am truly sorry Tre" Billie smiled at him, hair hanging over his eyes,
"Well you can start a fresh and make it up to Adi then I'll truly forgive you."

Adi was recovering well now, it had been three weeks since the "whole episode" as it had been named, tension was still thick between them, tension from healing arguments. Secretly they knew how to sort this out once and for all, it's what they do on tour when things get heated, fuck the pain away, literally. But hey, fucking someone your angry with makes it ten times better, that's what Tre told Billie in the shower anyhow...
"I thought I was doing the right thing"

"I am truly sorry Tre" Billie smiled at him, hair hanging over his eyes,
