First Kiss, chapter 7
Mikes POV
Tre was just frozen there staring at me. I gulped as the scene from this morning replayed in my mind.
*Flash back*
Billie ran out the room crying. Mandy told Tre to get him so I went in her room to see if she was ok. She was sitting in her bed crying so I walked over and pulled her into a hug.
"Are you ok, what's going on?" She was crying into my shirt.
"I've messed it all up, Why does he always blame himself, It's not his fault" She rambled.
"Shhh, what's not his fault?" I asked. She told me about her parents and Billie Joe.
"Aw Mand it'll be ok your parents will come around just give them time" She sniffed
"Thanks Mike" She pulled out of the hug and I found myself staring into her eyes and before I knew it I had pulled her close and my lips met hers. At first she did nothing but then she pushed me away. I felt blush arise in my cheeks
"Mandy I'm so sorry" She just looked at me for awhile before replying
"What the hell are you thinking Mike? What about Billie and Sarah?!" I looked down at my shoes shamefully
"I wasn't thinking I...." I was cut off by Billie Joe entering the room.
*End flash back*
Tre was still staring mouth open until he finally spoke
"Wha.. why?" I told him everything that happened.
"Do you like Mandy?" I shook my head,
"No not like that, as a friend yeah but not in that way". Tre nodded
"You gonna tell BJ?" I thought about my answer for a minute before slowly nodding
"Yeah I think I should". Tre nodded again
"When?" I sighed
"Now". Then I got up and left the house to go to the hospital. I dedcided to take a detour to the park before going though. On the way though I passed Sarah's house and I realised I needed to tell her what happened. Taking a deep breath I walked through the gate and knocked on the door. A few seconds later it opened and there she was as gorgeous as ever.
"Hey Mike what's up?" She said. Before she could say anything I had pulled her into a kiss. She pulled away a while later and smiled at me.
"Come in" she said. I obeyed and we sat in her living room. I swallowed heavily before turning to face her
"I need to tell you something" Her smile faltered slightly and her eyes told confusion.
"Okay" she said, I sat next to her on the couch and retold what had happened for the second time today. When I finished I refused to look at her face. Everything was quiet so I risked looking up. She didn't look angry but she did look upset.
"Did it mean anything?" she asked quietly.
"No it meant nothing" I replied truthfully
"I don't like her like that because I love you" Her head shot up we hadn't told each other how we really felt yet. She smiled slightly
"I love you too" then she kissed me suddenly and passionetly.
"I promise it didn't mean anything" I said when we broke apart. She nodded
"I trust you I'm just happy you told me first". I smiled before getting up and kissing her cheek.
"I have to go the hospital and talk to Billie Joe" I said.
"Okay, bye" she smiled. I left the house and headed to the hospital.
*At the hospital*
I walked through the doors and headed to Mandys room. On the way I met Billie he looked at me with a blank expression.
"Hi Bj I need to talk to you."
"Okay" he replied. I pulled us to a couple of chairs in the waiting room. He looked at me closely and I took a deep breath.
"I kinda kissed Mandy" I blurted. I looked at his face and instead of the angriness I was expecting all I got in return was a smile............
