You Were An Asshole... And Now You're Gone, chapter 2
Me and Nick were discussing what we were gonna where to the Green Day concert that night. Then we heard the door bell ring. "I'll get it," I said as I set my magazine down and got up. I opened the door and my mouth dropped. Then Tre and Mike started to walk in and Billie Joe grabbed them and pulled them back beside him. Then I recovered from the quick shock and said, "Come in. Have a seat. You guys want anything?" Then Mike said, "Got any Starbucks coffee or cappicino?" "Yea, I got the cappicino, but not the coffee." "Ok. That's all I need." "Anybody else?" Then Tre said, "Got any Pepsi?" "Yea. Ice or no?" "Ice please." "Coming up." "How about you Billie Joe. You want anything?" "No. I'm fine" "You sure?" "Yes, I'm sure." "Ok."
So I went and got the two men a drinks. Then I went back to the living room and handed them their drinks and said, "It's on the house." Then laughed. "You make people actually pay for drinks?" Tre asked as he set his pop on the coffee table. "No. I do that with everybody that I bring food or drinks to." "Oh ok." We all started talking and right in the middle of something I was telling Nick, Tre said, "I know you. You're on Myspace." "Yea. I'm on Myspace." "I finally get to see you in person. Awesome." Then the other two instantly recognized me.
"So, are you two going to the concert tonight?" Billie Joe asked "Yea." "You guys need a ride? Because we'll be glad to give you one if you need one." "If you're sure you really don't mind giving us a ride, then we now have a ride." "Ok, cool."
*4:30...3 hours till the concert*
Me and Nick were getting ready for the concert when there was a knock on the door. So I went and answered it. "Hey, come on in," I said as Tre, Billie Joe and Mike came in. Then Billie Joe said, "Are you guys ready?" "Almost, I just gotta change into some shorts and we'll be ready." "Ok." So I went and put these cargo shorts on and we walked out and then we all hopped into Green Day's limo and headed toward Orlando.
We got to Orlando about a an hour later and we helped them get set up. They did sound check and when they were through they sat down on the edge of the stage. Then Tre said, "You guys wanna come back stage with us and chill until the show starts?" "Yea sure." Then we jumped the fences and went back stage with the three very talented musicians.
Then what happened next, I started bawling my eyes out and just wouldn't stop.
