A New Start, chapter 3

Roxi was still sitting on the ground in her room. She didn't want to move, this was her home, she was happy with where she was now. And from the sounds that are coming from down stairs, the so called "grown-ups" are arguing about her leave. But what was she supposed to do with all these changes? She felt like this was all just a dream of some sort. First he father's passing, then the extraordinarily large amount of money, and now she had to move away from the one place she was familiar with. Then have to try and adjust with the new life away from here.
Roxi got on her hands and knees, pressed her ear against her floor and tried to make out the muffled words coming from down stairs.
"Where are we even moving?" Roxi's mom asked.
"Well, it says that you are requested to move back to Oregon." Said the man.
"But why? Our whole life is only here, and we know so little about how it is out there."
"I know Dennis, and I'm sorry. But it says that your husband requested that when he passes away the house and the land would go to a Ms. Trixxi Mainhigh."
Roxi pressed her ear harder to the ground. All she heard was silents. Suddenly her mom bursted out in to an explosion of swear words she would over hear some times when her parents fought. When she was done, Roxi heard her mom say something about her father's old boss and how he used to come in late at times. It popped into her mind that her father used to be cheating on her mom. But he couldn't have done such a thing, cheat on her the give the house away. It's just all to cruel. Roxi got up from the floor and fell on to her bed. She didn't want to hear any more of this crap. Then almost instantly she fell asleep.
That night Roxi had a strange dream. She was just standing in the middle of nowhere. But suddenly she sees a man, and just a man. It felt like she'd seen him somewhere before but that was impossible. With out realizing it, Roxi started walking towards him and so did he. When they were close enough to see each others faces, they both smiled. Roxi lifted up a hand to wave "Hello" and he did the same. She put her hand down and so did he. They smiled and laughed a little laugh.
"Hi" Roxi said. "My name is Roxi." She just kept on looking into his eyes. What a beautiful shade they were.
"Hi." He said. His voice was so beautiful and soft. "My name is... Roxi." His voice changed in to a females voice.
"What?" Roxi said.
"Wake up Roxi. Come on."
Roxi shot open her eyes, and saw her mom very close to her face. For some reason, she seemed to be whispering.
"Roxi, get up, we need to leave now." Her mom whispered.
"What? Why now?" She said a little loudly, just to see what would happen.
"Shhh, I'll tell you about it in the cab."
"In the WHAT!?" Roxi yelled sitting up straight in her bed.
"Just hurry up, be quiet and get dressed."
With out any struggle, Roxi did what her mom said and rushed down stairs and in to the cab waiting out side. Her mom was already inside it waiting for her.
"Mom, what is going on? Where are we going? What happened last night?" Roxi demanded answers now.
"Roxi, calm down. Now, first of all, instead of going to Oregon, we are going to Minnesota. And last night, that man spent the night at our house..."
"What? Why?" Roxi stopped and gasped. "What did he do?"
"Roxi... I... I..."
"WHAT!?"
"I slept with him!"
