They all decided that since Roxi was going to stay with them for a while, they'll all have a party night some other night. While in the car drive home, "Holiday" played on the radio. Roxi started to sing along, but the guys just watched her, happy that she liked their music and not just their looks. But Roxi thought that it was more like a look of discuss as in the type of music she likes.

"What?" Roxi asked. "Don't you guys like this song?"
Billie, Mike and Tré looked at one another then started laughing hysterically. Mike was the one driving so he had to pull over and wait until he stopped laughing. Tré was sitting next to Mike, and he held on to his about to burst gut. And Billie was next to Roxi, practically crying because he was laughing so hard. Poor Roxi just sat there, watched them laugh and felt her face turn from red to redder in mere seconds. Finally, Billie's laughing turned in to giggles and between each one he said,
"We'd better like that song...because we're the ones who play it."
The words went through to her head, but they just couldn't get processed. That couldn't be true...could it? Could she really be sitting in the car with a super famous punk band? Before she could give this any more thought to it, Tré screamed. They all looked over at him and saw a girl with her face pushed on to the window. Roxi turned her head and saw about ten other girls on her side peering in. Each and every one of them was screaming the same thing.
"OH MY GOD!! IT'S GREEEEEEN DAAAAAY!!!!!"

Suddenly the radio announcer said, "And that was Green Day with their hit tune 'Holiday,' stay tuned for more."
"Oh my god," Roxi thought.
Hastily, Mike punched on the gas and sped away, trying with all his might not to run any one over.
Roxi, still in major shock, sat stone still staring at all of them.
"S...so...you guys...a...are Green Day?" Roxi shook out.
"Uh, yeah. Where have you been for all this time?" Tré asked. But Roxi just ignored his comment and said a bit more heavily, "So, I'm sitting in a car, at night...with Green Day!?"
Billie tried to calm her down and rubbed her arm a little, but that just made her jump. "Well, don't get to freaked, but, yea. Seriously though, where have you been? Living under a rock?"
"Or on a different planet?" Tré added.
"Or out in the woods in a tiny little house with nothing but nature and you?" Mike added.
"Crap," Roxi said in her head. She did want to tell them, but she knew that she had to.
"Actually," she began. "I have been living in a tiny little house out in the woods with nothing, or anything like what I've seen so far."
Mike looked back at her, wide-eyed, while Tré quickly grabbed the wheel. Roxi felt her lips get tighter and tighter, until they were gone, and that's why they were all bug-eyed. At least, that's what she hoped.

It was pretty quiet in the car after that, either people were trying to put that behind them or trying to figure out what to say next. Tré was tapping his fingers to a made up beat, Mike was concentrating extra hard on his driving, Billie was looking intensely out the window, and Roxi was fidgeting with the lacing on her skirt.
"So..." Tré said, breaking the silence. "What's it like finding out about all this new stuff?"
Roxi looked up at Tré, feeling like she was two centimeters tall. But just looking at him, some how made it all feel like every thing was ok.
"Well," she started, "it's all kinda weird and confusing. Like when I got here, I bought a...um..."
"A what?" Billie asked.
"I'm not quite sure what it's called," Roxi said. Mike laughed a little and Tré swiftly hit him on his arm. Roxi dug in to her bag, looked around in it, then pulled out her new CD player.
"Wow."
"What?"
"That's a really expensive CD player."
"It is?"
"Yeah. I mean, it isn't really expensive to us, but maybe to someone with not as much... um." After a while Tré just starts to ramble a bit.
"How much money do you have with you?" Billie asked, interrupting Tré.
Roxi reached into her pocket and pulled out her half of the $90,000.
"Whoa! That's almost 45,000 dollars you got there," Mike said, eyeing the money through the rear view mirror.
"I know," Roxi said, trying not to sound too gleeful about it. "I got it from my mom," she added. Tré and Mike gave each other a strange look.
"Finally, we're here," Billie announced. Roxi looked up at the house they were approaching...
