This song is for you..., chapter 2
Katie was sitting on her love seat reading a book. She was having a hard time focusing because she had been thinking about Billie Joe alot lately, she really did miss him, but that didn't matter... he was probably never coming back. She went into the kitchen to get something to drink, because she had been thirsty for quite a while. She walked over to the fridge and pulled out a Coke. She opened it and gulped it down. She threw the can away and started to go back into the living room, when she noticed, she had missed her period by 13 days. Oh no, she thought to herself. The first thing that popped into her head was, I'm pregnant. She knew she had to go to the store and buy a pregnancy test... she had to. She grabbed her keys and purse and went out the door. She hopped into her car and pulled out of the driveway. It only took about five minutes to get there, which was pretty fast considering it usually took 15 minutes. She got out and went into the store. She went to the isle that had the birth control, pregnancy tests, etc. and grabbed two boxes, just to be safe. She went and paid for them, and quickly left. She practically ran to the car, and got in and left. Next thing she knew, she was opening her front door. She went in and dropped her purse and keys on the floor. She pulled the two tests out of the bag and ran upstairs. She went into her bathroom and shut the door. She opened the first test, and did it. She didn't want to look until she had done both. She did the second one, and held them out in front of her. She closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and opened them. She let out a cry, and slowly fell to the floor. She just laid there and cried.
Both tests were positive.

It had been four months since Billie Joe left. Katie really missed him.. even though she had hardly even known him, she felt like a part of her was gone. The father of her baby.. probably wouldn't even be around, but Katie on the inside, knew she couldn't hide something like this from her child. She was laying on the couch with a carton of Ben and Jerry's in hand. She had been craving coffee ice cream for a while. She looked down at her stomach, it was definately noticably bigger. She set down the ice cream and grabbed the remote. She was flipping through the channels, and stopped on MTV when she saw Green Day on TRL. She watched for a while and then turned it off. Just as she was falling asleep, the door bell rang. She easily lifted herself off the couch, and padded over to the foor. She opened it and there stood Billie Joe. They looked at each other for a minute and his gaze dropped to the bump of her stomach. He instantly had a scared look on his face. He looked up at her, and tears started rolling down her face. He hugged her, and they went in the house. Katie went into the living room and sat down on the couch. She looked at Billie Joe, who had sat down next to her.
"Billie Joe, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean for this to happen" she cried to him.
"Katie, it's okay, don't worry, it's not your fault, it's mine" he said to her slowly. "I'll be there for you, and the baby, as best I can, but I know it's gonna be hard" he said to her, and she nodded. "I'm just worried, about Adrienne... if she finds out, I swear she'll kill us both" he said to her with a laugh. She gave him a small smile and laid her head back on the couch. He did the same, and they both sighed. Katie knew, this was going to be a long five months. What ifs ran through her head as she fell asleep, in Billie's arms. The whole time, Billie Joe had one thing going through his head.
Shit, I'm dead.
Both tests were positive.

"Billie Joe, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean for this to happen" she cried to him.
