This is NOT a fucking love story!, chapter 2
At about the same time Tina knocked on the door to her class. When she entered the room the teacher looked up and said in a bored voice. "A little late, huh? Nice that you´re coming at all." She didn´t waste a look at him, shrugged her shoulders and went to her seat. She didn´t even bother to excuse herself for being late. Who cares anyways.
The teacher started to talk about whatever and after 10 min. Tina was lost in her thoughts again. She thought about a lot of things, but didn´t even dare to waste a thought about this Kendall guy, she showed around in the morning.
After school was out, she jumped down the stairs to leave the building as fast as possible. She was almost outside, when she heared a familiar voice calling. "Hey Tina" She turned her head up to get a view on the upper stairs and she saw ...Kendall.
Now she had the choise- leave the school and pretent she hadn´t heared him or she could wait for him. She decided to walk slowly down the last stairs and left the school.
Outside first she took a deep breath and looked around the place. She really hated this place. A couple of old people walked by and behind her walked some people out of school. Tina took out a cigarette and lightend it. "HEY Girl, dammit. Wait." Tina turned around to see who yelled around and was shocked that Kendall already stood so near behind her.
His green eyes glanced at her. "What the hell is wrong with you. I´m trying to be friendly and you´re just fucking cold to me." After a little pause he continued, while she was about to turn away. "You don´t like me, don´t you?" She starred cold at his shiny eyes and asked herself, why anyone of the world would giva a shit, if she liked him or not. And why did he act so weird-she didn´t even know him.
"I don´t even know you." She answered and turned away to leave, once again. "Hey come on, why do you always wanna leave. I´m not biting you." He said and smiled again. He was even cuter when he smiled, but Tina ignored that and tryed to ignore all her feelings or the feelings she might could get. "Sorry, I still got stuff to do." She felt so weird when he was around. She loves Green Day and it´s just weirder that he looks like one of them.
"I get it. What are you doing tonight?" He asked with a boyish grin and didn´t even thought about letting her go. He thought it was pretty funny to make her mad and to see how she wants to leave all the time.
He had his fun and she was about to go completly insane.
Tina sighned and threw her cigarette away.
„Look, ... Kendall or whatever. I really don´t have the time to talk to you right now. I have band practise today." After she said that, his eyes widened. "You have a band?" he asked excited. Tina rolled her eyes and asked herself what´s supposed to be so special about it. She really just wanted to go home, chill a little and then practise, but for some reason she just couldn´t tell this guy to fuck off. He found his words again. "That´s so cool. I play bass and I haven´t played in a band for ages." Tina looked up to him in surprise. A bass player was exactly the missing part in the band. "You do?" she asked and tried not to sound to surprised. Kendall nodded and smiled. But her band already lost too many bass players that she would be too hopeful right now. He was just a guy, too and he could change his mind anytime, too.
"Well... you can come over if you want." She said dry. But Kendall, who´s ignoring totally her coldness, was just too happy about this offer.
"Oh yeah... we´re making Punk." She suddenly said. Tina had to say that, cause that was one of the reasons some bass players left. There only a few people around who know that she has a band. And this would be her friends.
"Ah... nevermind. I like Punk. That´s what I did before, too. I would love to come over." He answered.
She looked at him and wondered why the hell this guy is so nice to her. She´s been a totally asshole the whole day. There just had to be something wrong. Maybe he had a bet or he´s so desperate.
But whatever it was she left it in the back of her mind and explained briefly how to get to her house, where the band usually practises. After he got it she left.
A few seconds later a car came and picked up Kendall. It was a green Mercedes -lookes really cool.
Tina rode home with her bike and had a weird feeling inside, which she tried too ignore. She didn´t wanted to think about this guy. This guy, who made her somehow nervous.
By the time she got home, her brother was already there or better he was still there. He usually goes right after school to his friends and since it´s Friday, he actually get´s drunk.
She threw her backpack in her room and went in the living room. On the couch was her brother, who looked like he would sleep. The T.V. was on and it looked like some cartoon stuff. She sat down on a chair next to her brother and looked at him. She couldn´t figure out if he was faking or really sleeping. She turned her head to look at the T.V but somehow didn´t felt like watching. Tina got up and went in her room, where she sat down on her bed and opened the first drawer of that thing next to her bed. Next to this was still the clock lying or what´s left of it. She took a little box out of the drawer and opened this one, smiled and closed it. It made her feel so much better, seems like all problems are gone. She got up, took the box and went outside in the garage. It was somehow cold in there, even though it was pretty warm outside.
The garage was divided in the middle with the help of some shelves. When you get in on the left side was a motorcycle, some bikes and some other stuff and on the right side was the practise room for the band. In the back was drum set and in front of it were some amps, on the right wall was a guitar and in the middle was a microphone.
Tina stepped over the amps to climb behind the drum set, where she sat down on the floor. She took out the box and opened it. The box was full of longpaper, grass and some little parts of a bong. She took out a paper and rolled a joint, looked at it and said in a sweet voice: "you´re my one and only." sat back on the wall and lighted it. She turned her head up to look on the wall. Right above her was hanging a Green Day poster and next to it a poster of some drummer she didn´t know who he was. She smiled sadly at the Green Day poster and blew the smoke out.
In that moment her brother stepped in the garage. He looked sleepy, his shoulder long hair was standing in several directions. He was only 16, 2 years younger than Tina, but he was already two times in the hospital, cause he drunk too much. "You smoking that shit again?" he rolled his eyes and shook his head. "Roll me one, too." He added. "I thought you wanted to quit smoking." She looked at him. He just smiled. "Yeah, but you know, ain´t that easy." She laughed a little and rolled him one, too. He sat down on one of the amps and took the joint, lighted it and smoked it. They talked a little about pretty much everything. Most of the times they get pretty good along with each other and nobody would guess they´re brother and sister.(I mean cause they get along-not what you people think. Brother and sister usually don´t get along so well.)
Suddenly a car pulled in their parking lot. Both of them jumped up in surprise and were really relieved to find out it wasn´t their mother.
Instead on their mother was there a green Mercedes. Tina and Eric (her brother) went outside.
Behind the steering wheel sat an older looking man. They both wondered who the hell he was and what he wanted. Eric threw his joint in the ashtray and sat down on a chair, Tina threw her joint in the ashtray, too and sat down on the bank, right next to the chair. She felt pretty dizzy and couldn´t get one clear thought. Her brother watched bored the car. Nobody moved in there and it seemed like they would be talking, cause the older man sat turned to the back and made some weird figures with his hands. It looked pretty funny.
After a little while bit a got out of the car and Tina sighned when she realized who it was.
"Who the hell is that?" her brother asked not taking his eyes of the car. "Just some weirdo from my school." She answered dry. "And does he want here? Buy some pot?" Eric looked at her as he got up and started to laugh. She knew the answer, I mean she was the one who invited him. But instead she just shrugged her shoulders. Eric wasn´t to interessted in this guy, so he turned and said bored. "You and your weird friends." He shut the door and Tina sat there watching the guy coming up to her.
"Hey girl, how´s going?" Kendall smiled and the car behind him left. Why the hell did he always call her "girl"- it´s not like she wouldn´t know that on her own. "What are you doin´ up here so early?" she asked him, still sitting. "I was bored. And besides I just arrived a week ago here and I don´t know anyone besides you. I think you ...." "Yeah yeah whatever." She cut him off and finally got up. "Well come on, I show you where we practise." She walked over to the garage and opend the door. Right at that moment a huge cloud of smoke came out and Kendall took a step back. "What the hell have you been smoking?" he asked and rolled his eyes. "Well, what every normal thinking human smokes." She answered sarcasticly.
