This is NOT a fucking love story!, chapter 5
The weekend Tina spend with downloading music and burning CD's , which she was going to sell the next week. She knew it was illegal and she could go to jail for years, but she needed the money.
And of course she bought a ticket for the Green Day concert in a month. Tina really looked forward to it und suddenly her mood was a lot better. She just thought once or twice about Kendall and since he's a Green Day fan, too, it was probably a good idea that she had asked him, if he wanted to go with her and her friend.
Kendall got pretty good along with Jule and he tried to get along with Tina, too. But it's Tina and she didn't let him, without even knowing why.
It was Sunday evening and it was already dark outside. Tina went out in the garage to practise on her drums.
Her mom and dad were inside and watched T.V. and her brother played on his computer.
It felt so good just sitting there, playing and thinking on nothing.
She closed her eyes and played one of her own songs. After a couple of seconds she didn't even felt her hands swinging the sticks around. She was gone in her own world.
Somebody stepped in the garage and she just realized it, as she opened her eyes for a second.
Her mom was standing right in front of her and waving her arms like a retard (looked pretty funny). Tina stopped playing and asked her what she wanted. Her mom stopped waving around and gave her the phone, that she hold in one of her hands. "It's for you." She said and left.
Tina looked at the phone. There not many people who call her, well actually pretty much no one has called her in ages.
"Uhm... Hello? Who's there?" she asked and on the end of the line was Kendall. "Hey! What's up. It's Kendall." She sighed and played the stick in her left hand a little on the Floortom. "What'd you want?" she asked a little annoyed, okay not just a little. She hated it, when someone interrupted her while she was playing drums.
"Is it a bad time?" Kendall asked back.
"Yeah it is, but why did you call?" she hit the crash and started to laugh a bit.
"What was that?" Kendall asked. "Nothin'" came as a cold answer. "Dude, what'd you want?" Tina continued. "Jule called me and asked me, if I wanted to go to the concert, too. I told her, that you already asked me. And she told me that it was alright with her parents." Kendall explained. Tinas eyes widened, she couldn't believe it.
"Why the hell did she call you. I was wondering the whole damn day, why I didn't got an answer." Tina got really mad.
"Calm down, man" Kendall said a little confused. "Don't make such a big deal out of it."
"I'm not making a fucking deal out of anything. We only know each other for like what, one day and you already got a fucking hold on my fucking friend." Tina yelled.
Not even she could tell why she got that mad. She knew it was no big deal and she also knew it was wrong blaming Kendall for anything. But right at this moment all her emotions came up, everything, all the problems, all the stress she had tried to hide.
"I fucking don't " Kendall yelled back. It made him so mad, that she accused him. He didn't even do anything.
Then there was silence. The silence grew longer. But no one of them thought about hanging up on the other one.
Finally Tina said. "I'm sorry" Kendall didn't repeat anything. He would have guessed that she would've hung up on him, but for sure not, that she would apologise.
"I don't know why it made me mad, but I know it's not your fault." She continued.
Kendall still didn't say anything. She waited a bit, but there was only silence.
"Damn, Kendall. I'm trying to apologise."
"It's okay." Kendall finally said.
"Well... see you tomorrow, I guess." Tina said and hung up.
She let out a deep sigh and got up. She didn't felt like playing anymore, at least not today.
