This is NOT a fucking love story!, chapter 7
"What's going on?" Kendall asked Tina, but she just shrugged her shoulders.
"Hey what did you do this time?" Sophie laughed right next to her. "I dunno." Tina answered bored.
Suddenly she remembered something and looked up. She couldn´t tell why or what, but she had a bad feeling inside.
"Hey, Ruth! You didn´t say anything or? Did anyone see us?" Tina whispered to Ruth, who was sitting next to Sophie. Ruth just shook her head.
"Well, common." Kendall said and pushed Tina to the door. The teacher didn´t say anything and the class just starred at them. They both felt pretty uncomfortable.
When they left the room, they saw a woman outside, who was waiting for them to follow her. She also said nothing. Why the hell was everybody all sudden so quite?
Kendall looked to her, cause he didn´t understand anything at all, he was so confused. "Nah...It can't be that bad, right?" Tina said and grinned, after she realized the look on Kendalls face.
When they entered the principals' office, both of them were surprised and scared at the same time.
Kendall thought that there had to be a mistake and Tina, she didn´t know what to think at all.
In the office was the principal sitting behind his desk. His old face looked empty and pale. He muttered something, that both of them couldn´t understand. Just something with: "in my school... good lord... "
Next to him were standing two police officer.
"Mrs. Smith, you are arrested for selling illegal CD copies." One of the cops said in a strict voice.
Tinas legs felt numb. She couldn´t move and all she was thinking about was the concert she would miss, if she had to go in jail.
"I don´t ... "She started, but had no idea what she wanted to say. "Could you please turn around?" The other officer said and took the handcuffs of his belt.
"Dude, that has to be a mistake." Suddenly Kendall yelled. He just couldn´t see Tina suffering like that anymore.
She looked like a wreck. Her eyes were empty like black holes and her lip was bleeding from biting it the whole time. She hated cops more than anything.
The cop was already putting the handcuffs on her wrist and muttered something with law and court and so on.
"She´s innocent!" Kendall said mad. Both of the officers starred at him.
"Do you have a problem, mister?" one of them asked.
Tina seemed to come back to life and could think clearly now again. She looked at Kendall.
"What are you talking about? Are you out of your mind?" She didn´t wanted him to get in any trouble, cause she knew, if he would, they would sent him back home with the very next plane.
And the last thing she wanted, that he gets a problem, just cause she made this shit.
She didn´t wanted to loose her best friend, she didn´t even wanted to think how she was supposed to live without him.
But Kendall didn´t seem to care.
"I don´t want you guys arresting an innocent person. So I´ll have to confess that it was me!"
The cops starred at him.
"Kendall ... " Tina started, but Kendall pushed her back. "Don´t even try to help me." He said mad. Tina wasn´t sure, if he was just acting or if it was real. But she did shut up.
"Well then, however your name is... "
"Kendall Lane Teague!"
"Mr. Teague you are arrested. Everything you say, can and will be used against you in court."
One of the officers took the handcuffs of Tina and put them on Kendall. They pushed him outside and Tina starred at them.
She couldn´t believe that. They didn´t even had any prove, that one of them did something like that. That was one of the reasons why she hated the police. They just don´t care, if someone is innocent or not. Cops are not even trying to find out the truth.
Why the hell did Kendall do that? Is he insane? Did he smoke too much pot? There was so much stuff flying thru her mind.
The principal still didn´t said anything, just looked desperate and empty, like a doll. An ugly old doll.
Tina run outside and after the officers. "KENDALL" she yelled. Kendall tried to look back, but the cops pushed him forward an out of the building. "Why did you do that?" she cried.
The cops ignored her and pushed Kendall in the car.
When she saw the police car leaving, she let herself fell down on the street. Tina sat there and starred at the ground. Some old people who walked by looked disgusted at her.
Why did this happen? Why did this happen to her? She took out a cigarette and lightened it.
After she finished the cigarette and calmed down a little she got up and had no idea what to do.
She just lost her best friend and once again a bass player.
She decided that she couldn´t leave it that way and took her bike and wanted to ride to the police station, who wasn´t too far away.
Tina had to see him at least one more time.
