When Alone.., chapter 1

Billie Joe panicked. He knew that sound all too well. His mom was home. He knew he could make it to his room and change before she made it up the stairs, but as always, he had that gut-wrenching feeling as if this might be the one time he got caught. That feeling he knew, subconciously, was one of the small reasons he engaged in this activity.
Adrenaline pumped through his veins as he ripped off his moms favorite cocktail dress. He knew why she loved it. It was black and slinky, she felt sexy wearing it out. He knew how she felt, because, oddly, that too was how he felt, about three or four times a month, when his mom went grocery shopping, and he would dress himself up.

There was a knock on the bedroom door. "OPEN THE DOOR MAN, WE KNOW WHAT YOUR UP TO" His friends voices rang through the walls as if they knew e x a c t l y what was going on. This scared Billie Joe even more, and in a heartbeat he wiped the lipstick off on the grubby "The Replacements" shirt he had just pulled on, and threw the dress under his mattress, just as the door burst open.

Billie Joe stood there, wondering if they had seen what he was hiding. He opened his mouth to explain...
