Love, Sex and Booze (Edited), chapter 5
Warren and Melanie walked through the door drunkenly kissing passionatly.
"I'm getting a shower honey I'll see you later" Warren slurred pointind a finger at Melanie.
"Ok" she replied giggling at him childishly. Melanie realised Billie watching her from the sofa with raised eyebrows.
Melanie sat down across from Billie.
"Oh sorry.. Didn't see you there. How you doin"
"Oh I'm fine. No I'm better than fine, I'm brilliant!" Billie replied with sarcasm in his voice.
"Whats up with you.....?" Melanie asked frowning at him.
"What's up with me? Nothing....."
"Billie....." Melanie started.
"Like I said..... What's the point it doesn't matter!" he cut in on her.
"Billie please...... "
"Look Mel just forget it okay......."
"No Billie I'm not gonna just forget it okay!" Melanie let out starting get frustrated with him.
"Well you obviously have." Billie said quietly picking up his beer.
"So what it meant nothing to you?" Melanie asked looking at him.
"Just forget it....." Billie stood up and Melanie quickly stood up with him.
"You're doing it again....."
Billie turned around to look at Mel. "Okay Mel.... What do you want me to do... Tell you how I feel? What difference will it make? Didn't you figure it out last night? Do I have to tell you....? Okay I have feelings for you! I've always had feelings for you! But now there's nothing I can do about it because you are going out with one of my best friends and he is upstairs right now waiting for you so I think you should go and do what you have to do!" with that Bille turned around and made his way out of the front room. Melanie stood there for a couple of minutes still trying to take in what he had just said suddenly realising the tears streaming down her face.
She quickly went into the kitchen to wash her face so Warren wouldn't see she had been crying. She took in a deep breath standing up straight and started making her way upstairs.

Sophie yawned making her way downstairs. Passing Mike's door, she paused slightly to have a little peak inside. She saw Mike talking on the phone wearing only a pair of black trousers. She smiled slightly just standing there for a while watching him walk across the room with no top on....
"Hey sis!" Warren suddenly said behind her making her jump.
"Don't creep up on me like that!" Sophie hissed hitting her brother in the chest.
"What were you doing...?" Warren asked.
"What the fuck's it to you?" Sophie said.
"Why are looking through Mike'sdoor!?" Warren said loudly. Sophie tried to shush him knowing Mike could probably hear. "Huh Sophie? Why were you looking through Mike'sdoor Soph-"
Mike suddenly appeared at the door now wearing a white t-shirt looking from Sophie to Warren. "What's up?" he said.
"Oh Mike, my perverted sister was outside your door watching you roam around in your underwear-"
"I was not!" Sophie snapped going bright red. "I was just passing by... Shut up Warren you stupid piece of shit!"
"Oooohh I'm scared!" Warren said sarcastically. Mike laughed quietly looking from Warren to Sophie.
"Oh.... Go... Blow yourself!" Sophie said pushing Warren and walking past him.
Warren turned to look at Mike. "She's in a mood.... What's the deal with you two anyway?" Warren asked.
"Who?... Me and Sophie?...." Mike laughed lightly. "There's no deal between me and Sophie... What are you talking about...."
"Oh good... You know it's weird I mean you've been my friend for a long time and I don't think it's right if you and Sophie... You know... " Warren said looking hard at Mike.
"Oh yeah totally man totally... " Mike said nodding nervously.
"I mean... Let's just get this straight... " Warren said pointing at him. "If I ever catch you watching my sister roam around in her underwear..... You're fucking dead."
Mike was taken aback by what Warren said widening his eyes at him. He tried to laugh past it. "Wh... Why would I do that?"
"I'm just saying. Anyway gotta go catch you later... "
"Yeah later...." Mike said running a hand through his hair.
As Warren walked down the stairs he burst out laughing trying not to be too loud so Mike wouldn't hear him. Oh that was fucking brilliant! Mike's face... I'll never forget that one!..
