"Black or red?" Emily said tilting her head in the mirror. "Come on Mel help me out here."
"Er.... I dunno... " Melanie said looking out of the window.
Emily turned round to look at Melanie who sat cross legged on her bed smoking a cigarette while looking out of the window.
"Mel?"
"The black one... "
"Mel!"
"Yeah... " Melanie said looking at Emily.
"What is up with you lately... You've been sort of distant... "
Melanie sighed out heavily. "Oh it's just.... Things... You know... "
"Well... No, I don't...." Emily sat down on the bed opposite her.
Melanie paused itching her forehead for a moment. She looked up at Emily. "I'm in a really bad situation... " Emily waited for Melanie to continue as she took in another drag of her cigarette. "... With Warren."
Emily rolled her eyes smiling slightly. "Ah... "
"But it's not him.... It's me... "
"Well what is it?"
"I think I'm in love with someone else...."
Emily raised her eyebrows at Melanie. "Who?"
"Billie... "
"Billie?... " Emily said surprised. "Our Billie!?"
"Shhh!.... Yeah....."
"What about him... I mean does he love you?...."
"Well I think so... I mean... The other day when me and him went out for a walk... We were talking and I asked him why he didn't make a move earlier and.... We kissed... And I told him that I would break it off with Warren but... I didn't and the other night we had an argument and he had admitted he had feelings for me but couldn't do anything about it because I was going out with one of his best friends... And now I can't stop thinking about him and I feel awful because I'm going out with Warren and I know Warren would flip at Billie for kissing me while I was going out with him and I just don't know what to do...!"
Emily looked at Melanie for a bit before pulling a cigarette out herself.
"Well... Don't you think you should tell Warren I mean it's not like you two are serious or anything is it? Warren's not IN LOVE with you is he? I mean Billie obviously has strong feelings for you.... And your in love with him so... Go tell warren... "
"I know but... Warren will kick his head in!"
"No, he won't! Come you know Warren he's all macho on the outside but on the inside he's a right softy! You have to tell him before it gets too complicated Mel."
Melanie bit her bottom lip. The door suddenly opened as Tre walked in.
"Is it safe?"
Emily smiled at Tre looking back to Mel. "Yeah I'm going anyway... Talk to you later." Melanie said getting up and walking out of the room.
Tre walked over to the bed and sat next to Emily. Emily breathed in heavily resting her head on Tre's shoulder.
"If you were in love with someone else would you tell me?" Emily asked.
Tre frowned at her. "What makes you say that?"
Emily shrugged. "Just wondering."
"Shit... Does that mean I now have to admit my undying love for Mike?"
Emily laughed sitting up. "I can't believe it! And all this time... !"

Tre, Warren and Billie sat on the balcony around a table chatting casually.
"Oh you guys... " Warren laughed. "You should have been there!"
"Wait wait... " Billie said between laughing. "You're telling me you told Mike never to watch your sister in her underwear or you'll fucking kill him."
"Yeah! Oh you should've seen his face!"
"Oh that is so fucking brilliant!" Tre laughed.
"Seriously though Warren. Mike is so into her." Billie said.

"Fuck yeah! Mike's wanted to fuck her for ages... " Tre said nodding. "Well I know I would she's hot... "
"Guys please this is my sister you're talking about!"
"So Billie what about you, any chicks?" Tre asked.
Billie swallowed hard thinking for a second. "Well," he started. "There is this one, but.... It's complicated... "

Billie sighed heavily. "Well you see, I really like this girl... I mean, really like this girl but... She's sort of with someone."

"Does she know that you like her?" Warren asked.

"I think so... Well I'm not sure... But I just don't know what to do I mean I don't wanna piss this guy off 'cause he's my friend but I really like this girl."
"Well if I were in your situation I'd tell the dude... Or at least get her to do it." Tre said.
"Yeah I agree man. I mean you don't want it to get to complicated. I know I'd get pissed off if Mel did something like that." Warren said looking at Billie.
"Same here dude." Tre smiled.
Billie breathed in heavily clearing his throat. "Well... I'm gonna go get some more beers... " he trailed getting up.
Sophie sat with her head rested in Mike's lap on the couch as Emily sat on the floor next to them with Melanie sat in one of the easy chairs.
"I'm gonna get some munchies girlies." Melanie said lifting herself up.
"And boy!" Mike pouted.
Melanie giggled making her way into the kitchen. She went over to the cupboards hearing the fridge open next to her.
"Hey... "
She couldn't help but smile slightly hearing Billie's voice. She closed the cupboard looking at Billie who stood in front of her.
"Hi... " she said quietly.
Billie looked at her for a long time. He opened his mouth but then closed it again not knowing what to say. He looked at the floor quite embarrassed with himself.
"You know Billie," Melanie started. "What you said last night... " she trailed not knowing how to finish the sentence.
He looked up at her raising his eyebrows waiting for her to finish the sentence.
"Well... Lets just say it's not one sided... " Melanie smiled.
Billie nodded not knowing what to say. He moved a bit closer towards her taking in a deep breath. Melanie swallowed hard moving in towards him. Their heads closed in as their lips touched softly.
"Come on Mel-"
Suddenly Emily walked through the door raising her eyebrows at them. Billie spun round quickly jumping away from Melanie.
"I better get these beers to the guys or Warren will have my balls." He smiled. "I'll see you chicks later." He gave Melanie a final look before leaving the room.
"Mel what do you think your doing? That was a stupid thing to do. Warren could have walked in on you!"
