"Kiss me now Billie Joe, before she comes back!"
"But I ca-" he was cut off bye a deep passionate kiss.
"Now Billie, will you-"
"TRISTA!"
"Huh? Wha?"
"Miss. Dosser, were you daydreaming again?"
"Um, yes ma'am."
"You have a detention at lunch."
"But, Mrs. Hornbeck, that's not fair!"
"Yes Miss. Dosser, it is fair! This is the third time this week!" said Mrs. Hornbeck exaggerating the third.
"Fine." Said Trista holding back tears. "Dumb ass teachers and their dumb ass detentions!" She mumbled.
"What was that Miss. Dosser? Would you like to say that to the class?"
"Yes, I would actually Mrs. Hornbeck!" she gritted her teeth, "I said dumb ass teachers and their dumb ass detentions!" the whole class gasped at the remark.
"That's another detention for you Miss. Dosser, would you like to keep going?"
"No."
"Thank you, you are all dismissed." after class Trista decided to skip her math class and go straight home, she trudged down the hallway and heaved open the heavy metal door. She took a step outside and inhaled the crisp air. She looked around and walked forward down the cement steps and started home, hoping the teachers wouldn't call when her mother got home. But when she got home she could handle them... Right? She attempted to walk across the street, but a car sped by.
"Jerk!" she yelled out and crossed the street. She walked in the front door of her house and immediately ran up to her room. She turned on the T.V. , got her homework out, reached for the remote and changed the channel to much music and saw her favorite music video, 'Holiday'. She turned it up and went into another stream of thought.-
"Billie Joe? Where are you?"
"Downstairs!"
"Okay!" She crept down the stairs to meet him with a shining dagger in his hand.
"Billie? What are you doing?" He started moving toward her a smirk paved onto his face. "Billie, stop! Ah!"-
"Trista! Trista wake up! It's okay, I'm here." Her mom said cradling her head in her arms, "What was that all about? I came up to talk to you and you were screaming." Her mother explained, "What did you dream?"
"I don't remember, now what did you want to talk to me about?"
"You skipping your math class and detentions, why?"
"I didn't feel well." She lied.
"Okay, but just incase, you're grounded for a week."
"But mom, it's not my fault!"
"What's not your fault?"
"Okay, I lied to you." She confessed, "My teacher gave me the detentions for daydreaming again."
"Alright, you're grounded for two weeks and no Green Day for the first week."
"No, mom, you can't do this to me, that's all I have!"
"Well I've got something else for you to live on!" Her mother squealed happily.
"What?"
"I got you-"
