How the hell did this happen?, chapter 4
Carissa opened the door. The scene of inside the room was like that out of a movie. The five of them made their way into the room and took in the destruction of the place.
Chairs were over turned, the table in the corner was upside down, the bed was messed up. The phone on the desk inbetween the two beds was off the hook and thrown onto the bed. The entire room was a mess.
"Kelley!" Holly cried out. "Kelley are you in here?" Tears started to form in her eyes. Kelley was no where to be found.
"Looks like she put up a fight." Tre said.
"Don't say that, that means she's gone." Carissa cried. Billie took her by the shoulders and led her to the bed to sit down. Carissa hid her face in her hands.
"Look, here's a note." Mike said as he picked up a single sheet of paper hanging from the wall. Everyone's heart stopped. Mike read the note out loud.
Dear Assholes,
You can only imagine our surprise entering this room expecting to find you and only finding this girl. She won't tell us her name but I'm sure know who we're talking about. As you might have guess right about now we've got her. We believe she must mean a something to you or whoever you're with, she put up a hell of a fight, screaming nonstop.
Bottom line, it's you we want not her. If you do not meet us at the address below, we'll kill her. Try to run, and you'll be finding pieces of her all over the highway.
The good guys.
"They're gonna kill her!" Holly screamed.
"Not if we meet them here." Mike said. He looked at Billie and then at Tre. They all nodded their heads and headed towards the door.
"Where are you going?" Carissa asked.
"We're going to get her back." Billie said with an assuring smile.
"We're coming with you." Holly said. She and Carissa walked towards them and joined them in the hallway.
"Are you sure that's a good idea?" Tre asked.
"Better than you going alone." Carissa answered.
The five of them knew there was no time to waste on arguing. They all hopped into the van and heard towards the address on the sheet left behind by the kidnappers.
