I Can't Wait For The Day, chapter 2

[Judy's POV]

"Hey, anybody home?" I shouted through the house.
"YUP!" a voice came from the basement, "Me!". It was my sister Jamie. She can be really annoying when she puts her mind to it. Sure, she's three years older than me, but she acts like a five year old. Billie, Mona and I go upstairs - as far away from her as possible.
"Is that your only sister?" Billie Joe asked me as we're walking up the stairs.
"Yeah, why?"
"You're lucky, try having five," he replies.
"Man, that would suck," Mona says. "I can't even stand having two siblings."
Ha, if they knew. Jamie has the annoyingness of 516 siblings. Or maybe even 517.
We get to my room, and immediatly Billie picks up my electric guitar off the floor and starts to play. It's not a song I recognise but it sounds pretty good.
"Hey Bill, why'd you come you move here of all the places in the world you could have gone? Come on, this place is a shithole," Mona asks him.
"Mom got a job offer."
"Oh." she replies. I guess she was expecting some big story about how he got kicked out of school for setting the teacher's car on fire or something. I can tell Ramona likes him a bit. Usually we like the same guys though, I'm surprised I'm not falling for him... Actually, he is kinda cute...

[Mona's POV]

"Wow, you're really good at guitar," I tell Billie.
It's not a lie. He's better than our band. Age Of Paranoia, I mean. It's me, Judy, Ava, and our friend Piper. I sing, Judy's on the drums, Ava on guitar, Piper on bass and backup vocals. Well, Judy and Ava try to sing, but... Let's just say they'd be better in a screamy band. Or rap. Something where it doesn't matter if you're totally tone deaf. No, wait. They tried to be rappers. Haha. Something along the lines of "Da cat, on da mat, wit a backwuurds hat, yo what up bat". Then they recorded it onto Judy's computer and forced me to listen. It wasn't that bad, just extremely funny.
So, I'm hungry. I wonder if Judy has any pop tarts.. I love pop tarts. Extremely. I Love I Love I Love.
"I WANT POP TARTS!" I scream.
"Too bad, I don't HAVE ANY!" Judy screams back.
Billie looks extremely disturbed.
"Sorry," I say, "Was I a little bit loud?"
"Just a little," he replies, winking at me. Oh my. He just winked at me. I really want pop tarts.
"Can we go to the store and get pop tarts?" I ask. Please say yes. Please say yes.
"Fine fine. But no more begging for food of any sort!" Judy replies.

[Judy's POV]

I know that as soon as she gets those pop tarts, she's going to be begging for something else. Oh well.
"Pop tarts, Pop tarts, pop tarts..." Mona is singing some made up song about Pop tarts.
"You should meet my friend Tre. Well, his name's Frank, but don't even TRY calling him that, or you'll pay for it," Billie says to her. "I think you'd get along."
"Tre. That's a rad name. But I don't think anyone could be quite as crazy as Mona," I tell him.
"You only think that because you haven't met Tre yet," he replies. He seems very serious. Wow, this Tre kid must be like, some sort of asylum escapee to be crazier than Mona. She needs a straightjacket.
I tell him this and he laughs. He's got a nice laugh. I can tell things about people by the way they laugh... People say I have a strange laugh. I hate it when they mock me. Unless it's one of my close friends, but they don't mock me.

[Billie's POV]

We finally arrive at the nearest Superstore. Wow, we've walked like, 12 blocks to get Pop Tarts. If they don't have them here, something is going to get seriously hurt. Seriously.
"Shit, I forgot my money," Judy says. That's it. Time to attack.
I chase after her, she's laughing so hard that her face has turned bright red. I pin her down and start tickling her stomach. She keeps laughing.
"That's for not bringing money!" I say, continuing to tickle her.
"Stop, stop!" She laughs harder. I stop tickling her.
"I have money" I say. "That was for making me pay."
"You don't have to pay," she says, her face still bright red, "but then we would have walked all the way here for no reason."
"Do you wanna get tickled again for being a smartass?" I say. She's quiet. I'll take that as a no.

[Mona's POV]

Finally. I got my Pop Tarts.
