A cheap hat, ciggaretts, and a peculiar name, chapter 2

"You ought to go home, Shin!" Carly urged, tapping Haushinka on the shoulder. It was now 5 o' clock in the morning, and she was slumped over the table, asleep. And having a rather unnerving dream..

It was him. She was selling souvenirs in the back, and he walked up to her, asked for a package of cigarettes. But then seeing a cheap plaid bowler, he pointed to it too. She put it all in a bag, gratefully accepted the American dollars, and handed it to him. He winked at her. "Today's my birthday..." he announced.
"Happy birthday, sir," she replied. She could tell he wasn't sober.
"No need to call me sir," he said, chuckling. "My name's Billie." Exactly the way it happened several years before.
"Is that all you'll need?" she asked. He nodded and walked off down the dark street.
"I'll see you soon!" he yelled.
"Yeah, right, you little crackpot," she mumbled underneath her breath.

Yet again, she was selling souvenirs in the back. But it was daytime, and several years later. The same person, with newly dyed blue hair and familiar green eyes that she had grown quite accosted to over the years showed up. "Hi, Billie," she mumbled, trying to count up money.
"'Ello Shinka," he replied warmly. "We're touring again here in Japan."
"That's nice," she replied absent mindedly. "Where's Mike and Tre?"
"Tre still has a bad hangover from last night... and Mike, Mike's wandering..." Haushinka laughed.
"You ought to go, your crazy new hair is scaring away the customers."
"Fine," Billie Joe said, sticking his tounge out at her and walking down the crowded street. "You'd better call me!"
"Okay, I will then!" Haushinka shouted as he dissapeared into the crowd.

Carly appeared in the crowd and wandered over to the stand. She started shaking Haushinka vigorously by the shouder. "WAKE UP! Haushinka, wake up! It's five o' clock!" The crowd and street began fading.
"Wake up, Shin! Wake up!" Haushinka's eyes fluttered open.
"Wha'?" she asked groggily, looking up at Carly.
"You fell asleep," Carly answered. "We need to open the shop now... you should go home."

Haushinka nodded, grabbed her coat, and headed out the door. Everything in her dream seemed so real... just like things happened before. Oh well. She walked down the street and sleepily forced open the door to her apartment building, wishing she still had her coffee with her.
