Billie's Forgotten Daughter, chapter 6

"This is he.";
"Mr. Armstrong, I'm afraid that your wife and your daughter had an accident on the highway. They are both in critical condition and have been taken to the hospital.";
Billie was stunned. How did she know? How did she know this was going to happen?
"Mr. Armstrong, are you there?";
"... Yes I'm still here.";
"You need to come down to... ";
"I'll be there as fast as I can."; And hung up the phone before the officer could say anymore.

Billie ran into the hospital's front desk without caring how many people he hit on the way. He was by himself. He had rushed to the hospital so fast, he forgot about the boys and left them at home.
"How are they, are they okay?";
The secretary was startled by how fast the words had spilled out of his mouth.
"What?";
"Are they okay?";
"Is who okay?";
"My wife and my daughter!";
"What are their names?";
"Adrienne and Alexis!";
"Adrienne and Alexis what?";
"ARMSTRONG!";
The lady started looking through the list of patients.
"Armstrong, Armstrong, Oh here they are. And you are?
"I'm Billie! I'M BILLIE JOE ARMSTRONG! NOW HURRY THE HELL UP AND TELL ME WHAT ROOM THEY'RE IN!";
Billie was getting very impatient with this lady's stupidity.
"Oh! You're Billie Joe Armstrong! You're that guy from the band... ";
"I KNOW WHO I AM! NOW GIVE MR THE ROOM NUMBER!";
"Oh yes, right away! Umm, let's see... room 219.";
Billie dashed down the hall. He knew that the more time he wasted, the less time he might have with them both alive.
