An Everlasting Friendship And Undying Love, chapter 1
The first day of school... One of the best and the worst days of school.
To Janice, It was both.
Janice Anderson, the typical freshmen in High school. And of course, to upperclassmen, a likely target for taunting and bullying. Janice was quiet and reserved. Her dressing was... quite normal, stone washed jeans and a light blue tee. Whats wrong with that? To Janice...
"... It's being a Freshmen mom! I didn't want to move to America! Why did we even HAVE to?" Janice pouted and complained to her mother, Cherri and her elder sister, Kimber.
"It's because I got a better paying Job here, Jan. How many times have I told you that?" Cherri gave Kimber a do-something-look.
Kimber smiled at her mother"A total of 30 times today, mom. It's kind of a record." Kimber looked to the back seat where Janice was sitting and smiled cheekily. "It's going to be okay, Jannie! I was in High school once! I was a freshmen once! Mom was too! We're here and alive, so whats wrong? Just try and make friends, okay, honey? It'll be fine. And if you have any problems or whatsoever, you can come to me."
Kimber, my role model and my ever loving sister. When mom's not around Kimber would always be there for me. I always thought of Kimber as an angle, with her blonde hair and flawless skin. My eternal guardian after my mom and dad. Dad died when I was 5 and Kimber was 8. So now, I'm 18 and Kimber is 21. A total of 13 yeas since my father died. It's all becayse of that stupid slut, Kandee! If it wasn't for her dad would still be alive!
"Janice, Janice honey. We're here. Your new High school." Jamie looked out. She saw A tall maroon coloured building joined with several other blocks. Lots of other students were walking into the school. Jamie reluctantly stepped out of the car. She slung her book bag on her right shoulder as she stared at the building.
"Come on students! Your first day of school is today so wake up and get to class now!" A middle aged lady was standing at the front door with a megaphone. There were so many students dressed differently and in groups. There was a group of preppy girls in mini-skirts and high-heels. And another group of Jocks in school Jackets. I was just the puny brown-headed girl in blue jeans with a matching baby blue shirt and flip-flops. My dad was a Chinese and my mom American. Kimber was more on my mothers side. Blonde, beautiful and blod. The three B's, my father used to call them. I took up more my fathers side. Meaning I look more Chinese than American.
*After school*
Man, that finished fast. Didn't think it would be over so soon. I went to my locker and started 'moving in'. As I was half way through, suddenly, someone pushed my locker door and closed it shut. It was the punk who everyone talks about. Many girls have a crush on him. Mostly the preps and cheerleaders. His name is Billie Joe. He was accompanied by his two accomplices, Mike Dirnt and Tre Cool.
"Hey, there freshie." Tre, the shorter blonde of the lot, said while blowing a bubble with his gum.
"We saw you in our history class. How 'bout you do our homework assignments?" Billie Joe leaned on my locker door as he tried to look intimidating.
"Yeah. How 'bout it freshie? It's just homework. Or would you want us to hurt you?" Mike, the tall blonde guy, cracked his knuckles and gave me a threatening look.
I shook my head. I was so unwilling to do a bunch of bullies homework.
"No? Fine." Billie Joe punched me hard in my stomach. I fell backwards and my glasses flew off. The pain was so bad I almost passed out. I sat up, found my glasses and tried to run away. I was crying out of fear and pain as I hobbled down the empty hall way. Tre tackled me. I fell but managed to sit up. Mike and Billie were exchanging evil grins while they came closer to me.
Oh god this is it! I begged them not to hurt me and to leave me alone. Billie used his left hand and grabbed onto my head. He raised up his right arm. "You wanted it the hard way. You'll get it." His arm was ready to give me a mind scrambling blow. I prayed silently in fear.
