An Everlasting Friendship And Undying Love, chapter 8
-After school-
Kati and Janice went to their locker. Kati explained what happened to her last night in the park...
"Oh, really?"
"Yup...strange don't you think?" Kati handed Janice her notes she kept for her and continued to rummage through their locker.
"Yeah... It's just weird. You say he reached his hand out when you reached out to him?" Janice looked through the notes she had Kati keep for her and tucked them into her bag pack. Kati yanked out some books and handed them to Janice for sorting.
"Ugh...yeah...it's just so weird!"
"Mmm... We have Math tomorrow as our first period...pass me our math books." Strange how both of them got every class together, it was good though. They became the best of friends within such a short time. And only having each other to lean on made their bond stronger than any other.
"Okay. Were done." Kati stood up with ease and lifted her sling bag to her shoulder. Janice, being the clumsy girl she is, fell back to the ground. Kati laughed and yanked Janice up with her free hand.
"Thanks. I'm so clumsy!" The two friends giggles echoed through the empty hallway. "So, I'm going to your house today, right?"
"Yep, that's right."
"Is it okay if I bring Tre and Mike? Tre says they were longing to get to know you better without Billie making a scene."
"Oh really? Well, I guess it's okay then. Have you asked 'em yet?"
"No. But I'm going to ask them now. I see them outside. Wanna come with?"
"No. Billie maybe there. Don't want a scene now would we?"
"Nope. I'll see you in a few then! I'll be right back with them!" Janice scampered off like a scared bunny sending some papers and dust flying. Her footsteps faded as they echoed through out the hallways. Kati continued to search for something in her locker. One of the reasons she didn't want to see Billie was because she was still tired and hurt from the fight that day. Her weak and tired body wont helps her in a fight with Billie again.
'Now, where did I put that... Oh yes! I found it!" Kati pulled out a black and blue colored notebook. She happily tucked it into her bag and closed her locker. She hoisted her bag pack up to she shoulder once again and whirled around to leave.
Kati's eyes grew wide with shock and fear as she gasped. Billie was standing right behind her and strangely close. Kati dropped some papers she was holding and her bag pack followed the falling papers.
"Billie! Why aren't you with Mike and Tre?" Kati felt like dying when she was thinking about what Billie would do with her. She's at his mercy this time. She was weak and tired, with no strength to fight. Billie's green eyes were staring straight into her gray eyes.
"Just because."
"Umm... How are you feeling? From last night I mean." Kati was scared. Billie was so close. Uncomfortably close! TOO CLOSE! Her mind was going haywire. What does he want with me?! Thoughts raced through her mind when she tried to talk about what happened last night.
"Just... Peachy." Billie stared into Kati's gray eyes. She looked so much like the girl in his dreams...
"Billie, look, I don't want to fight with you today okay? Just let me go, please!" Kati tried to escape from Billie's stare and run but he grabbed her arm just before she could even move.
"Billie! Let me go! Look, I'm sorry for whatever I've done to you! Please! Let me go! Don't hurt me please...." Kati tried to struggle but Billie was too strong. He pinned both her arms to the lockers.
"Oh, your sorry, Kati? Well, you can make it up to me."
"What? How?" Tears were forming in her eyes as she struggled. She whimpered like a puppy and almost broke into a sob.
Billie blinked. He saw the look on Kati's face. It was so different then the normal Kati. It was sad and scared. Her tears flowed down her cheeks. Billie brought his hand to her face and wiped her tears away. He stared into Kati's eyes and grew weak. It just made his heart break when he saw her like this. Kati started to sniffle when Billie wiped her tears away. She too, looked into his eyes, getting lost in the greenness of his eyes.
Billie couldn't resist anymore. He had to know. He had to know if she was the one, the girl of his dreams. Billie moved even closer to Kati. He was practically hugging her when he dove in for a kiss. Kati was shocked when Billie made his lips meet hers. Kati was lost in the kiss for a moment but realized what she was doing. She shoved Billie away from her just as he was about to deepen the kiss.
"Billie? What were you doing? Why did you-" Billie cut her off with another kiss. The first was just not enough for him. She struggled but failed miserably. Kati still tried her best to escape. She manage to slip down to the floor and crawl away from Billie. But Billie was fast on his feet as he grabbed her shoulders. Kati was on the floor when both of them struggled. Billie shoved her back onto the lockers and prop her up to a sitting position on the floor. Her head was spinning slightly, when Billie secured her legs between his, putting him in a kneeling position and Kati in a sitting. He pulled his body close to hers and used his hands to hold up Kati's head straight.
"Billie... Don't... Hurt... Me... Please..."
Billie ignored her and dove in for another kiss. Kati, having no strength at all, and having her head rammed into the lockers left her defenseless. She was limp but felt her heart rate raced as the warmth gushed through her. Billie felt it too. The feeling in the dream and now...was the same...but something was missing...
"KATI!" Janice shrieked when she saw what was happening. She dropped her bag pack and ran to Kati. She tugged at Billie's shirt to get him off her best friend. "Kati! Kati! Oh my god! Billie! Get OFF HER! What-" Billie got off Kati and shoved Janice into the lockers behind him. She fell instantly to the ground.
"Jani? Why were you scream-OH MY GOD! JANICE!" Tre ran to Janice's body as Billie walked back to Kati's limp body on the ground. He grabbed her by her arms and tried to hoist her up.
"Billie! PUT HER DOWN! YOU'VE DONE ENOUGH! " Mike shoved his friend away and grabbed Kati's body before she hit the ground. Billie fell back. He groaned on the ground while holding his head. "HEY! SHE'S MINE! PUT HER DOWN!" Mike ignored Billie and carried Kati in his arms. She was out cold. "No, Billie. You've done enough to her." Tre was supporting Janice as she tried to stand. "Let's go Mike. NOW!" Tre bellowed and hurried with Janice, carrying Kati's things, to the school gates. Mike ran as fast as he could to Tre and Janice to Kimber's car. Leaving Billie all alone in the hall.
