Mislead Accusations, chapter 3
'Hey you had me worried that you weren't coming', Steph said, looking at
Billie Joe from the front door.
'Yeah, I'm here, I told you I was going to be', he told her. She looked down
at him and smiled sweetly. That was the nicest a guy had actually ever spoken
to her. He tried to look into her eyes for a few moments.
'So, you going to come in, or are you just gonna stand there?', she asked.
'Ah yeah, I'll come in', he told her. Steph took him by the hand and walked
him, in closing the door behind them. Billie couldn't believe that they were
actually holding hands. This wasn't usual for Steph to, do even if she was with
a guy she was dating. She gently locked the door, so that it didn't make a
sound as it shut, and walked Billie though to the lounge where masses of other
people were, enjoying themselves.
'You know, I'm glad you came', she told Billie, turning her head round to
look at him. Billie smiled and he's eyes turned a dark shade of green.
'Really?', he asked her intriguingly.
'Yeah, really. I wanted to tell you something tonight', she whispered to him,
trying to maintain eye contact.
Billie started to feel sharp tingling sensations up his spine. This was
probably the closet the two had ever been, apart from the occasionally hug and cry they had, had together when they were younger.
'Hey mate you're here', Mike said, walking up the them, 'You want a drink?',
he offered. Billie Joe didn't know whether to accept or not. He wasn't the one who
usually drank even if he had the chance to.
'Oh come on Billie, when's the next chance going to be, when your allowed to
drink underage?', Steph asked. She took a bottle out of Mike's hands and
flipped the top off, handing over the drink to him.
Billie took it and started drinking.
'See, it wasn't that bad was it?', she asked, smiling innocently. He looked
down at her, and smiled back.
The three of them started talking for a while longer, before Steph eventually
got swept away, by another group of people.
'So did you tell her?', Mike asked.
'Tell her what?', Billie Joe asked, taking another sip.
'That you like her', Mike told him. Billie took another drink and looked up
at his friend.
'Well?', Mike asked again. Billie was shocked.
'Why are you pushing this?', Billie asked inquisitively. This wasn't like
Mike.
'Well, we were talking about you before, and about what she has to tell you',
Mike told him. Billie blinked a few times in shock, and then took another
bottle from Mike. He had no trouble finishing the first on off.
'So are you going to tell her?', Mike asked again, sincerely.
'You know, I might go find her', Billie said, putting the bottle down and
walking away in search of Steph.
He had searched the whole lower level of the house and the backyard and
couldn't find her at all. He decided to go up stairs and try his luck there. He
made his way up there stairs and tried the first few doors, but the only luck he
had, was finding a few couples using the rooms as make out rooms.
'Hey you're here', he heard a voice say from behind him. He turned around
expecting it to be Steph, but instead it was Tre.
'Yeah, yeah, I've been her for a while now', Billie told him. There was an
unusual tension between the two friends. They both noticed this.
'I think we need to talk', Tre told him. Billie nodded and they walked into
the door closed to them.
Once inside Billie went to turn on the light.
'No don't', Tre stopped him, 'We don't want to draw attention to ourselves'.
Billie Joe understood and took his hand away from the switch. The two boys sat
down on the bed. It wasn't the best place to sit, as it only made them more
uncomfortable, but with it being Steph's room, and with things everywhere, it was
the only appropriate place.
'Listen Billie, I'm really sorry about today', Tre let out. Billie put his arm
around Tre. Tre dropped his head down and closed his eyes.
'No really, I'm sorry Billie. I shouldn't have', he let out again.
'Listen you don't have to be', Billie told him, as she started gently rubbing
Tre's back.
'But Billie I am', he said once again.
'Tre, it wasn't that bad', he told him. Tre looked up at him. His eyes were
water with crying.
'Tre man, don't cry', Billie said, trying to comfort his friend. Tre wiped
the tears away, and looked up at Billie Joe though his watery eyes.
'Billie', He said.
'Yeah Tre', Billie replied.
'I, I…', he couldn't finish. Locking lips together with Billie had cut him off. This time both of the boys found it more enjoyable, as they both knew what
was happening. Slowly the kiss deepened and slowly, they started to enjoy what
eachother was doing and where their actions where heading them. Once they
broke apart, they looked into each others eyes.
'Tre this cant happen anymore', Billie Joe told him. He tried to keep speaking
but he was cut off.
'Don't tell me you don't enjoy it?', Tre asked as seductively as he could.
'No I do, its just…..'. The door was starting to open. Billie pushed Tre off
the bed. He stumbled down across the floor and hid himself in the cupboard.
'Billie…', they both heard a voice say, before a figure stepped into the
room..
