A Heart That Isn't Broken Yet, chapter 1
It was a cool june breezy night. Kim and her boyfriend where walking the streets of downtown Oakland California. "Its really warm out kevin." Kim stated. "yeah, whatever." Kevin said to plainly. Kim was currently dating Kevin. She didnt care much for him becuase she had cought him cheeting with other woman. She tried to break it off but that just didnt cut it. "Kevin do you love me like im supposed to thing?" You could see a very mad expression on kevins face, like he was going to explode. "Kim we have already talked about this. I do love you god." Kim's face looked worried. She knew he didnt love her. He was just using her. "Then why did I catch you with other woman?" Kevin was getting anoyed. "Kim shut up with all the questions I love you."
Kim didnt want to continue this date. "Please Kevin I want to stop seeing each other. Kevin stopped walking and grabbed her wrist dragging her into a dark allyway. Kim was scared. "Kevin please let go, I wanna go home." By this point kim was crying.
Kevin didnt want to put up with her crying and begging so he slapped her. Kim cried out.
Out of the corner of her eye she saw 3 figures coming toward her. "Oh know im done for." Kim thought. The tallest one walked realy fast towards kevin and knocked him to the ground leaving Kim trying to catch her breath from kevins hands clamping her throat. The 2 other figures picked kim up and carried her to the side. "Thank you so much." Kim managed to breath out. The short man patted her back. "Its ok he wont get you now." Kim felt really light headed and dizzy soon she blacked out.
Kim woke up in a warm bed. "Mmmmph her am I?" Kim said to her self. "Your in my house. You blacked out so I wanted to make sure you where ok from last night." kims view came into clearer focus. The tall man walked over to her bedside the touched her hand. "My name is mike..Mike Dirnt." Kims heart dropped from what felt like 2 stories high. "M-Mike Dirnt ,..the bassist from Green Day?" Mike smiled. "Yea thats me."
"Where the 2 figures Tre,and Billie who rescued me?" Mike smiled angain and nodded.
"Wow I dont know what to say except thanks." Mike squeezed her hand. "Who was that guy you where with who did this to you?" Kim took a deep breath and squeezed mikes hand. "Oh im sorry if you dont want to talk about it, its fine." Kim shook her head. "no ill tell you. He was supposedly my boy friend. I went out with him for a couple months. I cuaght him cheeting on me so I wanted it to end but he wouldnt let me go." By this time Kim was shedding tears of memories from last night. Mike conferted her with a warming hug. They where interupted by a knock on the door.....
