Something In The Air That Night, chapter 5
We all said our 'heys' to each other and I caught BJ staring at me. I stared back and he looked down and blushed. We decided to ditch school and went to the nearest Dairy Queen where Tre bought me lunch. We then walked to my house to find my mom sleeping on the couch. The sound of the door shutting though woke her up. "WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN?" she yelled at me. "Umm..." I started, but she didn't let me finish. "Probably fucking these ugly dudes!" she yelled. "Maybe we should go," said Mike a little nervous. "No! It's fine." I said to them and we ran upstairs to my room leaving my mom. We sat in a circle in my room for about 2 hours talking about random crap like do you think dogs will take over the world? Or if you find bugs bunny attractive when he dresses up as a women bunny. Finally at around seven, Mike and BJ went home. "So how do you like them?" asked Tre once they left. "Thery're great!" I said enthusiastically. "Yeah, I think they like you a lot," said Tre. I nodded and we sat in silence for a while. "So umm...I gotta tell you something," said Tre. I nodded and looked at him.
Tre's POV.
Oh shit. I am so nervous to tell her. What if she laughs at me? Or says she likes someone else? If she likes Mike or BJ I will freakin' die! "Umm..." I mumbled. "I LOVE YOU!" I screamed loudly. OH SHIT. That wasn't supposed to come out like that. I looked at Jax expecting the worst. She looked at me and smirked. "Well, Tre...I like you a lot, but I hardly know you," she said. My face must have fallen pretty hard and low 'cause she replied quickly. "But I wanna get to know you better so in the future we could try umm...going out I guess." YAY!
Jax's POV.
Tre smiled that amazingly cute smile at me. I can't believe he asked me out! I flashed him a smile and asked if he wanted to stay the night but he declined and went home. I crawled into bed and thought about how lucky I was to have Tre ask me out. I fell asleep dreaming about me and Tre together...forever.
