Something In The Air That Night, chapter 6

Jax woke up the next morning by yells and angry screams. Her mother's.

"JACKIE! I WAN'T YOU OUT OF THIS HOUSE NOW! AND NEVER COME BACK! I TRY TO BRING YOU TO A NEW PLACE BUT YOU'VE MADE LIVING HERE AWFUL!" screamed my mom.

I scrambled out of bed quickly. Put ass many clothes as I could in a bag, grabbed my guitar and ran out of the house to Tre's.

Tre's POV.

RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING. RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINg.

"GAH! HOLD YOUR FUCKING HORSE WOULD YA!" I screamed at the door. I opened it and Jax was there face tear-stained and red.

"Jax, baby, whats wrong?" I asked worridly.

I noticed she had her guitar and a duffel bag in her hands.

"Tre. We need to get my drumset." said Jax shakily. I nodded and we wn't out of the house to her garage. I could hear her mother's screams.

We took apart the drum kit and carried it all back to my house and put the parts in the big living room. Jax fell onto the couch shorty after and started bawling uncontrollbly. I starightened her up and sat down beside her and pulled her as close as I could. She sobbed into my hoodie.

"Baby, please tell me what happened?!" I said nervously. She stopped crying.

"My mom threw me out of the house. And she hit me too." Jax said. I stared.

"Jax, sweetie. I'm so sorry." I said. She nodded.

"Tre I just want to fall asleep." she said.

"Okay." I took her up to my messy room and laid her down underneath the covers. I started to walk away.

"Where are you gonna sleep?" asked Jax.

"Oh, I will sleep on the floor downstairs." I said. Jax laughed.

"No your gonna sleep up here with me." she said.

"I can't take your bed!" To me that was the best thing I could of heard from Jax.

I smiled and layed beside Jax. I felt her snuggle up close to me and soon I could feel her soft steady breaths coming warmly into my neck so I shut my eyes and fell asleep instantly.
