Worst Week of My Life, chapter 2
Billie bit his lip, and looked down again. Maria fumbled in her pocket for her keys and unlocked the door. A whoosh of warm air flooded onto Billie's cold numb face.
He smiled and sighed.
*Billie's POV*
'Wow, this is a nice place, and this Maria girl is beautiful.... NO i can't do that to Adie... AAAAAAARRGGGGGGGG....'
*Maria's POV*
Billie is REALLY cute.....wow, his green eyes......
*Nobody's POV*
<p>"Have a seat," Maria said, as she dumped her bag on the floor next to the door and took Billie's coat. Billie sat down on the rug.<br />
"Do you want something to eat? or something warm to drink?" Maria offered.</p>
"If it's not too much trouble, thanks."
<p>Later they sat on the rug together, eating, and talking, "So, are you gonna tell me whats up?" Maria said, smiling at the cute satisfied face on Billie Joe.</p>
<p>"Uh, yeah. well, I lost my wife and kids in a house fire 2 days ago, and I haven't found a place to stay. So I've been on the streets for a while." Billie was looking at the floor again, looking so upset. Maria didn't know quite how to react, so she said, "Oh....Well I'm sorry,"</p>
"It's Ok, i'll get over it...eventually," Billie looked up again.
<p>"What were your family like? If you don't mind me asking." Maria felt really weird, her stomach was lurching and it felt like it was turning upside down.</p>
<p>"I don't mind, well there's my wife, Adrienne, she was the most beautiful woman in the world."<p>
*Billie's POV*
Apart from you Maria, Oh God i wish i could tell her!
*Nobody*
<p>"And there was my 2 boys, Joey and Jakob, they were so loving and playful...." Billie's eyes welled up with tears again, and he wiped them away with his finger.</p>

You don't have to carry on," Maria said sympathetically.
"Ok, so enough about me," Billie said, completely normal again.
<p>"Yeah, er... i work in a music store, i'm 26, i love punk bands, and there's not much more to tell really, apart from that my Husband, Tre is seeing someone else so i'm divorcing him, and my 'name' won't be weird anymore!"</p>
<p>They both laughed, 'she has such a wonderful laugh,' Billie thought.<br />
"You have a wonderful laugh," Billie said, then mentally kicked himself, 'why did I do that?!?!?'</p> <p>Maria smiled, blushed, and did a strange little flattered giggle. Billie leaned over to Maria and kissed her softly on the lips.</p>
