Things will change, chapter 3
Abbie came up with a delighted look on her face. She had finally found out how to stay in America! She had calmly told her parents she needed to talk to them and she sat then down at the table. She explained to them how she finally felt she fit in and she had a band that she felt were actually going to be big one day. They both listened to her and realised how grown up she had become even though she was only turning fourteen next month. When she had finished explaining how upset she was over moving they didn't know what to do. Suddenly they realised something, Abbies older sister Lauren who was twenty-two was staying in America with their Aunt. They knew it would mean only seeing Abbie once a month but if it made her happy it would have to do. The minute that they suggested this to Abbie she felt so happy that nothing could stop her from smiling. She hugged her parents so tight they that they thought she would never let go. She screamed thank you so loud that Natasha could nearly feel the ground shaking beneath her, and the minute Natasha heard that thank you she knew that Abbie wasn't going anywhere.
"NATASHA! I'm staying for good!", Abbie screeched. The two girls were so happy that they hugged for what seemed like hours. "Abbie this is brilliant!" Natasha screamed. "We have to go and tell the others!" Abbie said running out the door with her guitar in her hand.
When all the band members heard the whole story they breathed a huge sigh of relief. "Thank god you're not going anywhere! I mean, what would we do without the lead guitarist?!" Tara said while hugging Abbie. "I know! I am so relieved that I'm staying here with you guys!" Abbie said.
When all the excitement was over they started to practice once again. For the past month they practiced nearly every day because in school there was going to be a battle of the bands talent contest and the girls knew they had a chance of winning the prize. The prize was to record a demo CD in a proper recording studio. The girls were so excited about the contest because if they won the chance to record a demo their band could have a chance of making a proper CD. They were practicing for the rest of the day and they were actually getting very good. They were even staring to write heir own songs but for the contest they just decided to play a Green Day song just in case the judges didn't like their songs.
