Coming Clean, chapter 1
Cloe was walking down the streets of Rodeo a small town in California. She was walking along minding her own buisness when three guys ran past her knocking her over .At first the three guys just burst out laughing and carried on walking .Soon they realised that the girl wasn't moving ,she just lay there on the side walk.
"Is that girl alright I mean Tre you did kind of knock her over maybe you should go and see if she's ok ."Mike said conscerned .
"Yeah, I suppose..nah I can't be bothered."Tre laughed .
"Oh god ,wait here I'm gonna go and check on that girl."Billie Joe said making his way over to where Cloe was.
"Hey ,are you ok I mean my mate never meant it he's just clumsy at times..hey are you ok?Oh fuck,TRE,MIKE GET OVER HERE!"
Tre and Mike ran over to where Billie Joe was kneeling now aware that something was up.
"Hey is she ok?"Tre said .
Cloe wasn't moving she was rapidly turning very pale.
"Maybe we should call an ambulance,she's looking really pale now it's starting to scare me."Mike said taking his mobile out of his pocket to dial 999.
Mike called an ambulance mean while Billie Joe was fussing over Cloe .Tre started to wander off .
"Hey Tre get back here you're the one who caused this !"Billie Joe called.
Tre knelt down and put his head in his hands.
"Tre what's wrong ?"Mike asked hanging up .
"Look at her ,she looks like...like "Tre stuttered breaking into tears.
"Oh Tre I'm sorry I never meant to remind you of Mya."
Tre was now sitting on the curb sobbing.
"Look Tre come on it's ok,it's ok I'm sorry I forgot."Mike said his arm around his shoulder. Cloe was now left there laying on the side walk totally forgotten about . Both Mike and Billie Joe's attention was focused on Tre who was now sobbing.
Tre was crying because Mya was his ex girl friend who died in a car crash on the very road Cloe was lying on .
"Tre come on let's go home ,Billie Joe you look after Cloe while I take Tre back to mine's."Mike said picking Tre up from the ground.
"Well ok I'll just be here ..."Before Billie Joe could finish what he was saying Mike and Tre were out of sight and the ambulance had arrived .The ambulance crew put Cloe on a stretcher and Billie Joe followed the crew into the ambulance .
Billie Joe looked down at Cloe who had a pale face and was now gripping tightly to Billie Joe's hand even though she had never met him in her life .
In the hospital Cloe was laying on her bed and Billie Joe was by her side,she didn't have anyone else.Soon Billie Joe was joined by Mike and Tre who came 2 hours after.
"How's Cloe ?Is she recovering."Tre said ,his eye's red from crying.
"Tre you shouldn't be here ,you should be at home ."Billie Joe said looking up from where he was sitting .
"I was the one who knocked her down I should have been here from the start.what happened anyway,why did she calapse ,I mean it's not like I knocked her flying or anything."
"Well it turns out she's got a long term heart condition which basically triggered it off ."Billie Joe said answering Tre's question.
Cloe twitched her finger .
"Hey look Billie her finger just moved is she waking up ?"Mike asked leaning over Cloe to see if she was waking.Cloe opened her eye lids to see Mike piering down at her.She pulled away her oxygen mask and at upright in her bed .
"Hey,sorry Cloe I knocked you over earlier,I never meant it ,I.."Tre said relieved to see Cloe awake .
"Look it's ok it wasn't your fault ,You weren't to know I had a heart condition."Cloe said now wide awake.
"Cloe ,I'm Tre ,this is Mike and Billie Joe."
"Hi,nice to meet you."
The nurse walked in to check up on Cloe.
"Hi are you ok ?Do you feel ready to leave?"The nurse asked.
"Leave?!?She's just collapsed for fuck sake!"Tre said outraged.
"It's ok Tre I collapse quit often,it's my heart you see."Cloe said gladly taking the grapes from Mike .
